Who will win the SuperBowl???

I'm sure we'll get a lot of answers on this one as the season gets under way, but in watching the various teams in preseason, and the carry over from last year, I am thinking.....

Cinncinnatti over Carolina, assuming no major injuries.

Let the Screaming begin :)

Also, check out the screwicide pool we have going for screwbucks at screwicide dot com

Lions over the Texans; 4 games to 2.

Craig T 09-03-2006 02:52 PM

Having grown up in Michigan, that is about the only way Detroit could win... with help from their baseball team :1orglaugh

haha...i love this saying 'one year away'..I'm sorry new england still and will run that divison for awhile..i hate them so i'm not a fan saying this

djroof 09-03-2006 03:21 PM

Oakland Raiders of course !!!!!!!!!!

Torn Rose 09-03-2006 03:23 PM

Colts over Seahawks

Craig T 09-03-2006 03:42 PM

Colts had the team last year..... Peyton needs a labotomy before the playoff game if he is ever going to make it to a superbowl. Now that I say this, they are going to go, but I think losing edgerin was HUGE!!!!!

In regards to "miami being a year away, they need experience as team" Playoffs can kill a young team.

this is correct....the final will be 24-23 dolphins over the 49ers with a last second touchdown by marcus vick, after shooting 3 defenders and commiting suicide like the dude in the last boyscout upon this victory i will break into an irish jig:2 cents:

aico 09-03-2006 03:54 PM

Obviously, it's up to the referees to decide. Just like the last one.

MegaPartnerJerry 09-03-2006 03:56 PM

Two words.................................DALLAS COWBOYS

Dallas would have been a great choice, till Jerry the owner decided the team needed a cancer. We'll see if TO is still on the team come December.

Craig T 09-03-2006 04:09 PM

Only in OAKLAND is the love for the team so blinded that they think a new quarterback can get them to a suberbowl the same year. I am in Arizona, and no one loves our team, the Cardinals, due to the owners, but we are hopeful... that is till Warner trips over the kicking tee in the 5th game, till then they are going to be a fantasy dynasty.

Moraxian 09-03-2006 04:15 PM

My picks:

Division winners (in seed order):

AFC: Colts, Patriots, Steelers, Broncos (Wildcards Bengals, Jaguars)
NFC: Panthers, Seahawks, Giants, Bears (Wildcards Redskins, Cowboys)

AFC Playoffs: Rd 1) Steelers over Jags, Bengals over Broncos Rd 2) Colts over Bengals, Steelers over Pats Championship) Colts over Steelers

NFC Playoffs: Rd 1) Giants over Cowboys, Redskins over Bears Rd 2) Panthers over Redskins, Seahawks over Giants Championship) Panthers over Seahawks

Super Bowl: Colts 38, Panthers 24

Craig T 09-03-2006 04:20 PM

Moraxian, If you are going to be that good at picking, you should def try the screwicide pool. However, i think washington will kill your prediction as I havent seen them move the ball ONCE this preseason. It could be a long year for the redskins.

J. Falcon 09-03-2006 04:20 PM

Joe Gibbs will win his fourth SB and so will the skins:

I always choose Dolphins so might aswell stick to it !!

Huge News!!!!

You can cross pittsburgh off the list, they will have to fight to make playoffs

Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger had an emergency appendectomy after becoming ill before practice Sunday and will miss Thursday night?s season opener against Miami.

How many surgeries can you have before the start of a season????

Craig T 09-03-2006 05:15 PM

And guess who is the lucky team that gets to play Pittsburgh, this Thursday??? That would be your MIAMI DOLPHINS.... maybe you are in for a lucky season.

Imagine trying to get a second string qb ready in 5 days for the start.

lol you basically picked all the same teams as last year. don't you know how much the playoff teams change year to year in the nfl? i think it's something like 7 different ones a year on average...

Not disagreeing about their defense, or how good theyare, but with their schedule in the AFC and all those teams playing for a playoff spot, they are going to be hard pressed to make it to the playoffs.

Look at the 1st 3 weeks:
9/7/2006 8:30 pm vs. Miami Dolphins NBC
9/18/2006 8:30 pm @ Jacksonville Jaguars ESPN
9/24/2006 1:00 pm vs. Cincinnati Bengals CBS

You could start out 1-2 or 0-3

dakota1358 09-03-2006 07:03 PM

Baltimore Ravens all the way baby
