In Asia thats how they teach, if you have never really been hit .How do you know what to do when it happens. My teachers in NYC told us all about how different it is over there. To get beat with a stick in class is no big deal over there ,they feel it toughens you up .

well this is pretty much what has happened over the last 10-15 years. Rorion went around just beating up everybody willing to fight him, putting them to sleep gently, with a minimum of fuss and bother. I'm not sure what planet these Bruce Lee Kung-Fu freaks live on. No holds barred fighting proved beyond doubt for anyone with an IQ bigger than their shoe size that KF is useless in a real fight. Kung Fu is gay. When I lived in South America, I invested in a Vale Tudo promotion company (I even was a ring announcer for the television broadcast on several ocassions). Very, very true. Brazilian jujitsu is fucking awesome, one of my best friends is one of those crazy UFC style fighters and that's what he does. He's about 5'7" and could take down any huge guy I've ever met.
