nope. they some how already knew what i did. they've asked me questions before, but nothing like that. without a laptop though, there isn't really much they can do other than tear through your clothes etc.

I recently bought a laptop to use when traveling and away from home for business. Right now it has no porn on it other than the links in my browsers history. Are you guys basically saying that if I plan on traveling out of the country I shouldn't add any porn to it?

And why did they ever choose to search your laptop to begin with? Thousands of people have to go through customs every day with laptops, why were you different?

I think if they figure out that you work in the adult industry, they're automatically going to assume you might have child porn on your computer.

So how do they figure that out?

My only guess would be sponsored shirts or other items, or if they saw your business card and it had something related to porn... mine doesn't.

i keep a very low profile. i would never wear any shirts, and my biz card is mainstream. email addy is mainstream, everything is.

they asked what i did, i gave them the usual internet marketing line, then they asked about adult, and i'm not going to lie the them, so i said we have some involvement in marketing adult sites. they let me through without issue. i crossed the border at least 5 times after that, and no real problems except once when i was pulled out of the line again, a couple of questions, quick look through my bags and i was on my way. i was still traveling with a laptop at this point, and didn't see any reason not too. then, after getting back from NYC with my brother, they decided to go through absolutely everything. was kind of funny as we use macs, and the agents have no clue how to operate them. basically i had to go through my drive and show them everything for them. honestly i could have easily hide something from them if it was my intention, but i have nothing to hide. so we watched a couple hours worth of ultrawiredsex.com videos with them. at least they didn't seize the laptops (like they did to sleazy).

You guys are missing the point... customs really did ask Aaron (for the second time now) if he was going across the border for any homosexual reasons.
