Does Bush Wish He Condemned the Swift Boat Ads Now

All these 'missing' memos are coming out of the woodwork. While the Pentagon destroyed Bush's records, they forgot to destroy the records of his superiors which rebutt W's states that he served honorably. Several superiors note major political pressure to give him good marks, etc. It also turns out that he had committed to a final 7 months with a unit in Boston and W never reported.

It looks like multiple AWOLs with a desertion.

Bush has condemned all attack adds from 526 groups ( is this the right number?)

I do not think that this will hurt Bush. He has the power of incumbency, which makes his 4 years in office the only real issue that can hurt him. ( unless it was something crazy like driving off a bridge and letting your female friend die)

Oh... it will hurt. Incumbency is a good thing, but cowardess and lying isn't.

Yes, Ted Kennedy saved his own life without stopping to pull his date out of the wreck. He's not that good a swimmer and was lucky to get out himself. Bill Clinton got a blowjob. John Kerry cowardly accepted three Purple Hearts. Max Cleland was ignorant enough to get his limbs blown off in Vietnam.

Bush went AWOL, ran our country into the ground and wants to take away our civil liberties. And lies about all of the above.

What the fuck are you idiot conservatives thinking?

Oh c'mon, it's simple and easy to understand :)

Bush used connections to get out of being drafted to 'Nam. His problem was that he then skipped out like a weenie.

Next issue please :)

He's not running against Ted Kennedy. Weak attempt there. Besides, Bush has allowed more than 1000 soldiers die in his personal war.
He better stick to telling OB-GYNs to continue to pratice their love with women.
What a disgrace this guy is and the sheep keep blindly supporting him.

"""Bush went AWOL, ran our country into the ground and wants to take away our civil liberties. And lies about all of the above."""

all wrong. if he were awol, he'd not have been given a honorable discharge (no matter what fantasy land is telling you) our economy is better than anyone predicted after 9/11 and the fake economy bubble burst and unemployment is lower now than it was under clinton. we've also lost no civil liberties. but you keep chirping little bird. its fun to watch. the next 4 years are gonna be hell for you.

Somehow I picture GW standing on the edge of the bed teasing Laura by doing a bad Leonardo DiCaprio impersonation, "I'm king of the world!" and falling... that's how he gets the scratches on his nose.

Why are you so threatened by the Patriot Act? Do you have anything to hide? While hippies like to sit and talk while Americans and innocents die, Bush has gotton things done. Where was Bill Clinton during Rwanda? Oh, he was ignoring it b/c he was scared. Fuck, Bill Clinton had a legitimate chance to capture Osama but he didn't do anything. So much for leadership.

sure, after Bush and the rest of his lying criminal administration stand up in front of the world and say they have concrete evidence that Saddam Hussein has 1000 nuclear bombs and they're pointed right at us. Or something like that.

Turned out he was lying to the congress and the American people to get his way. Everybody knows that now. Why don't you and the rest of the hillbillies?

yeah that's right, they'll NEVER come after YOU or any other right-thinking amurican hahahahahahahahahaha

if you don't know history, you're condemned to repeat it.

The only thing Bush got done is allow terrorists to knock down the WTC. Because he's an idiot who doesn't know how to pay attention. This would never have happened under Clinton or any competent President of at least average intelligence.

"Convenience to the government" discharges are "honorable" discharges. One does not have to complete a full military term to be discharged "honorably".

This is the most dangerous attitude in the world. About 70 years ago attitudes like this got Hitler to Power and he got millions of people killed due to him getting things done.....

The way to achive a goal is actually more important than the goal itself as it shows how a country handles itself. Nowadays people get arrested in the US and disapear like in the best banana republic. A country that holds about 2000 people without trial or legal guidance in my view is stearing in very dangerous waters.

Don't get me wrong, the american people are great. They can achive nearly everything but your leadership and government at this point of history is as bad as it can get. I will never understand how a country with a majority of liberal people are even considering to revote that brotherhood of rich, feedom killing morons.

Excuse me? I don't think I said that. The military services can designate the discharge of any member as "convenience to the government" and the discharge itself will say "Honorable Discharge".

Voted on it based on false information, bad intelliegence and outright lies.
I might have voted for it too based on the cover story they were promoting. You have to assume that the commander in chief is telling the truth, right? And not about some fuckin' blowjob either.
