Will Bush be re-elected?

what are your opinions? Does Bush still have enough support in the United States, to be re-elected?

and would you like him to be?

bringer 05-03-2004 03:17 AM

yes

EviLGuY 05-03-2004 03:17 AM

I hope so.. maybe he can ban porn in the US.. that'd be good for the ole bottom line. ;)

Plus.. he IS entertaining. Would the news be nearly as much fun with John Kerry?

never know, he might buy more useless shit and crash on it

Goose 05-03-2004 03:19 AM

no...though the entertainment factor would be missing...

alexg 05-03-2004 03:19 AM

BTW, did you see that Bush started to tell self-jokes to the public?

V_RocKs 05-03-2004 03:21 AM

Yes, Kerry looks to much like an asshole. Same reason why Bill Clinton won, we was the least asswipe looking of the bunch. Sad to say but George wins this year....

Mr.Fiction 05-03-2004 03:27 AM

Kerry will win if the election isn't fixed.

Bush has spent many times more money than Kerry so far and Kerry is still leading in some of the polls and he's tied in the others.

Bush wil be back in Texas next year unless he finds another way to cheat the election.

Firehorse 05-03-2004 03:30 AM

Could Kerry be worse than Bush, maybe we will find out? :Graucho

KRL 05-03-2004 03:31 AM

Kerry is going to be the next President. Thank God. This administration is so out of control its scary.

Bigfuck 05-03-2004 03:36 AM

No he had his time

ItBurnsWhenIpee 05-03-2004 03:47 AM

A lot of people hate Bush, so I could see him going IF a charasmatic, positive fresh breath of air of a person ran against him.

Kerry, however, has even less charm the DUBYA, and is running on negativity with a face that looks photoshopped.

Don't underestimate Bush. He was the clear winner in most of the debates against Gore last time, most analysts from both sides agreed. Viewer polls showed he won most of them. I don't know how he did it since he seems like a putz, but he did. Kerry has no spine and hates, hates, hates. Bush will win the election.

Plus how can Kerry talk about the war in Iraq in the debates like it's a bad thing, when Bush can always come back with, "well, when you voted for the war in Iraq to happen..."

Jace 05-03-2004 03:48 AM

nope

Stop 05-03-2004 03:49 AM

Nope, never!!!

sixxxth_sense 05-03-2004 03:49 AM

if Kerry is shot or suddenly dies than YES!

ADL Colin 05-03-2004 03:51 AM

It's a toss-up.

Paul Waters 05-03-2004 03:53 AM

I think it will only take Bush one more term to eliminate the constitution.

Ironic when they say that they are fighting for freedom in Iraq.

For the sake of freedom loving Americans I hope Bush losses in November.

reynold 05-03-2004 03:53 AM

I really hope not!

rakeback 05-03-2004 03:56 AM

I believe the silent majority will vote bush, I'm guessing it will be 65/35 in total votes nationwide for bush.

I think for anyone that owns a business, there is no reason to vote kerry.

Taxes = Death to business

Tax cuts = good things for the economy.

Hmmm, I think you're crazy ... and maybe even a Republican ;-)

I believe that would be the biggest landslide in election history and Bush is just barely holding onto break-even popularity.

Not even FDR pulled 65%.

$5 submissions 05-03-2004 04:06 AM

Depends on which poll you look at. I personally think it's still too early to tell. Maybe by September, we'll have a stronger idea.

How would Bush "eliminate the Constitution"?

GonePhishing 05-03-2004 04:10 AM

I should hope not. I think with the way the war is going and with the amount of things that have been coming to light in the domestic arena, he will have really made it a close race. I just couldn't imagine what would happen to the country if he could keep running it into the ground for a nother four years.

Tania 05-03-2004 04:15 AM

no his time 's over :BangBang:

Gore got half a million more votes than Bush and Bush's approval rating in many polls is below 50% - your numbers make no sense. Bush's only hope will probably be to once again win the electoral college, while Kerry takes the majority of votes - this time perhaps by over a million.

As far as business people supporting Kerry, read this and maybe you will learn something:

The US Democratic presidential candidate, John Kerry, has received the support of the world's second richest man in advance of his election campaign.

We've seen what happens when one party has control of the executive branch and the congress.

I believe this country stays more middle of the road when we have one party in the White and the other in the Congress.

Its too lopsided now and people are getting fed up with this right wing agenda going to the extremes on every issue.

Same here. I've always preferred a split.

dapproid 05-03-2004 06:22 AM

Haven't heard so much from Kerry the recent months. News bulletins have been all filled with the latest on Iraq and Pr. Bush announcing his firm/solid/decisive/determined stand on the issue.

Perhaps all Iraq news is good for Bush in the sense that you don't hear anything from Kerry.

poodle 05-03-2004 07:05 AM

Bush had already "mission accomplished" in his first term.

Another vote for a split. They spend so much time fighting each other they don't have time to come up with stupid laws.

Supreme Court appointees would water it down so much, you may as well not have a constitution.

Roe vs Wade will be the first to go.

Unfortunately, thats my opinion as well, but will he win big time?

JDog 05-03-2004 10:56 AM

Nobody can really tell, it's gonna be another close one like with Gore, and there's gonna be another recount in FL. I can almost guarentee that.

The Truth Hurts 05-03-2004 10:57 AM

Bush will win, easily.

5 seconds later Mr. Fiction and many other similar thinking morons will be on here crying 'fix' and 'conspiracy'.

Notice they're already sowing those seeds.

Shows you how much (or should I say how little) confidence they really have in Kerry.

Creative 05-03-2004 10:57 AM

What the fuck kind of thread title is that?

What do you expect us to say?

"Yes, I have traveled into the future and George W will remain president"
