Kerry will win the popular vote, but who knows who will be president

I think for anyone that owns a business, there is no reason to vote kerry.

Taxes = Death to business

Tax cuts = good things for the economy.

Look at the big picture.... Bush just put your country almost 100 billion dollars in debt. Your childrens children won't have that debt paid off... way to go Bush.

Kerry may not be the best alternative, but stand him next to George W and he looks like a golden god.

Hopefully, but it's too early to tell.

I'm predicting Kerry will win. You've got to figure that Kerry will take all the states that Gore did in 2000 for starters... all he would need is one more state to win the electoral vote. And since he'll carry the whole Northeast (Gore didn't) that means that he'll win even without Florida.

50 no votes

Al Gore at the Democratic Unity Dinner (DUD) last week:

"I do not support John Kerry"

Real unity. John Kerry needs to decide what he's going to run about before he can win anything he's running for. Someone just wrote an article saying we can't understand his ideas because he over-intellectualizes his thoughts and can't express them so us "average" people can understand him.

Sounds like a scam to me.

So what's the alternative? Vote for Bush? I don't think so. Nader? No way man, thats just a vote for Bushie.

Were Fucked. Vote for Kerry and pray to God.

Babagirls 05-03-2004 07:14 PM

hopefully no. but then again, we didnt want him in the office in the first place.

and i love how hes pullin more troops out from particular states (to win them over) but i bet he ships them right back if hes re-elected.

and we need to be sendin more troops over to have more re-inforcement, not taking them out. we shouldnt be over there to begin with, but now that we are, we need to kick ass, not send them back home (for votes.)

im votin for Kerry (less of the two evils imo). :2 cents:

Yes and yes.

scoobydookc 05-03-2004 07:19 PM

I'm not saying vote for Bush, I'm not saying both sides are worthless, I'm saying as many times as that cable network played Brewster's Millions... Just Don't Vote.

Having a politician run a campaign is just like any of your paysites/reselling websites, it's all business --- and they've got more to gain than we do.

bizmak 05-03-2004 07:28 PM

I don't think so ...

ronbotx 05-03-2004 07:30 PM

Yes Bush will win. At least his positions on all issues are clearly known; unlike Mr. FlipFlop.

phelix 05-03-2004 11:09 PM

It's quite sad that someone thoughtful and nuanced can be labeled a 'flip-flopper'. It's easy to label someone a flip-flopper when they have 40 years experience in public service (lots of votes to scrutinize)

On top of that, Bush has flip-flopped so many times it's really sad.

Truth is they are both flip-floppers because CIRCUMSTANCES change.

Kerry may win, he is very strong in debates, has HUGE balls, experience, brains and is no Gore.

But then again, the American public is terminally clueless so I don't expect them to wise-up. Bush will likely win, fact is the GOP propoganda machine is MUCH better than the Dems and has been for awhile now. And the American public is willing cattle.

JMHO

It's a tough call.. I think it'll be very close.

I'd like to see Bush lose in a landslide, however, i know how marketing works and can't see this happening without some extremely effective marketing genius from the Kerry side and a hell of a lot of money.
