So who do you think makes more money

People that push per-signup or people that push revshare programs. Overall not individuals.

And what do you push and why.

This is a serios question I want to know why you push who you push not conversion wise but your reason for pushing certian types of programs.

flashfire 02-28-2004 02:44 AM

revshare over the long run...per signup is for people that want or need money right away

VeriSexy 02-28-2004 02:45 AM

per-signup

Reason: Bradshaw said so :glugglug

bluff 02-28-2004 02:46 AM

revshare

SomeCreep 02-28-2004 02:47 AM

people that do both

IPK 02-28-2004 02:47 AM

per sign up

Slinx 02-28-2004 02:50 AM

If you have a good revshare program you are doing better with revshare. (over a view of 1-1,5 years) For the fast buck go by pps.

I'm pushing both. Money is money :2 cents:

foolio 02-28-2004 02:50 AM

one time payout for the crap sites

every time for the good sites

I deffinatley agree man I could even in the good ol days at $35 a signup make about twice as much pushing revshare.

TheJimmy 02-28-2004 02:52 AM

people that push sites that they own...

so ultimately, revshare...

Living For Today 02-28-2004 03:02 AM

NaughtyJenn 02-28-2004 03:06 AM

revshare all the way :2 cents:

I see allot of you saying what but not to many saying WHY.

Elaborate a little tell me why you feel the way you do

AlienQ - BANNED FOR LIFE 02-28-2004 03:17 AM

You will notice anyone that is huge and successful provides both offerings.

And I am not insinuating that you dont.

But allot of people dont get why programs do that

Its not because they want to pay affiliates more its because they make more if you go per signup. And it draws people in because by nature people want to see the quick buck (pardon the pun) but few see the big picture. IMO

If that makes sense.

malakajoe 02-28-2004 03:25 AM

It all matters on the site you are promoting. If you are promoting a site that won't keep the member an average for 3 to 4 months, then Per Signup is better. If you are promoting sites that keep the average member for that time, you are better off.

very good point.

It deffinatley depends on the sites you promote.

3 rebills on a 29.95 rebill makes $45 I think that is about the break. Good call but its only 2 calander monthes as the first rebill is in 3 days.

I agree with you on the point you made.

exspamr 02-28-2004 03:41 AM

depends on the sites and their content... revshare is cool though... i stopped *ahem* promoting this one program like 4 years ago and im still getting checks in the mail... gotta love that

Anyone else have any thoughts on this.

I want a better sample of what people think and WHY.

Krille 02-28-2004 05:02 AM

per signup, got to love getting paid up front

strobi 02-28-2004 05:06 AM

PPS programs get far more sales. But the individual who knows his stuff can earn more using revshare:2 cents:

nice to hear.

would you say a lot of these rebills, rev share programs are of the 'reality site' programs? what niche/programs do you prefer?

shermo 02-28-2004 05:15 AM

A mix of both is the way to go. I like to push PPS maybe 1 gallery per day, and revshare at 3 per day. This way it evens out on a daily basis, and the rebills save my ass during the slow months. :thumbsup

Good ratio I agree mixing it up is good I just make more on recurring in the long run and yes in slow signup times like summer recurring is SWEET:thumbsup

Ash@phpFX 02-28-2004 05:20 AM

i think it depends entirely on the site, if they are likely to stay members, go revshare, if they are likely to stay for only one month, go pps.

Cool. Someone was telling me teen wasn't all that hot anymore, but I had my doubts about that especially going to vegas in Jan and seeing all the sites out there and I really think teen will always be a hot converting niche.

SubSonic 02-28-2004 05:23 AM

Definitely revshare ... it's allways great to see how i get payed for people that joined months ago.

PPS is great for the fast money. But on the long run i prefer revshare

rounders 02-28-2004 05:30 AM

per sign up

Trax 02-28-2004 05:32 AM

whoever says PPS has no clue
(i am talking about a quality paysite here, no cookie cutter bs paysite)

revshare will always beat PPS

shermo 02-28-2004 05:34 AM

Words of wisdom:

Don't put all of your eggs in 1 basket. :thumbsup

Too many do this, and I really feel bad for them. Especially Newbies. $35.00 up front looks good, but as in any business, there are slow times.
