Steve Jobs deserved what he got.

In life he didn't give a dime of his fortune to charity. Apple doesn't even donate to charity. When asked about his lack of giving, Jobs has been quoted as saying his talents are best spent improving lives through technology (translation: his gift to the world is giving you a cool iPhone to buy from him).

If anyone deserved to endure a long, painful death it was this scumbag that represented all that is greed.

moeloubani 10-05-2011 06:29 PM

:/ donating to charity isn't the only thing that makes you valuable to society

porno jew 10-05-2011 06:31 PM

I don't think people should be judged for what they give back to the world. It really is a personal choice on how one views their life. And certainly I don't think one deserves a "long, painful death" because of those beliefs.

"Mr. Jobs has clearly never craved money for money’s sake and has never been ostentatious with his wealth. He took a $1-a-year salary from Apple before stepping down as chief executive last week, though his stock options have made him billions of dollars.

In a 1985 interview with Playboy magazine, he said of his riches, “You know, my main reaction to this money thing is that it’s humorous, all the attention to it, because it’s hardly the most insightful or valuable thing that’s happened to me.”

V_RocKs 10-05-2011 06:35 PM

How much have you donated to charity?

Phoenix 10-05-2011 06:48 PM

well i dont really agree with you there.
however what shocks me is he was at the top of the technology frontline.
why didnt he move 5 billion into advanced cancer research
seems he worked almost until the end on apple
different strokes i guess

DarkJedi 10-05-2011 06:48 PM

The good will and caring company theme of Apple is pure Bullshit...they are no different from GE, Halliburton, or Union Carbide

The bottom line is they exploit poor people to make money like anyone else does.

They make the world a better place for the spoiled American brat that gets mom and dad to buy Apple products. But..the Chinese worker on the other side of the globe who would have been poor but on his own land as a farmer in a clean rural setting working alongside his family and teaching his kids the business is working like a slave is a dirty city for slightly more than he would have made on the farm because to them that is upward mobility.

Jobs promoted this "idea" that Apple was a renegade, pro-people, anti-corporate company. In reality, they never had enough money.

How dare he run the company like a company! You people are fucking idiots. Truly.

He loved what he did and did it better than anyone. To tell someone how they should run their business or their personal life ( Especially while playing within the rules that politicians set ) are just simply assholes. He is not your brother or father, he does not owe you ANYTHING. He built a fucking sweet set of products that people have loved to use, and somehow this makes him an asshole because he did not donate his earnings to some charity that probably transports 2 cents of every dollar to the actual cause?

I don't know why I bother posting, I suppose to make myself feel better. I am done, go fuck yourself.

DBS.US 10-05-2011 06:56 PM

I heard that many of the people that worked in the factories making iPhones prayed every day for Steve to die a horrible death for the misery he was responsible for.

J. Falcon 10-05-2011 06:56 PM

It's hard to believe that people can be stupid enough to make threads like this.

plsureking 10-05-2011 06:59 PM

i didnt know him so i dont know how he lived. i dont give to non-profits, but i give generously in my community, my village, and my fmaily. we dont know that he wasn't generous to friends and family.

you are only responsible for your own karma. having negative energy towards someone for their karma only hurts yours.

on that note - i am going media black today. every fucking site is deluged with this dead bald guy..

All the people that whine about Steve Jobs allegedly not giving to charity (which he very well may have anonymously) are quite hypocritical...

I see what all are really focused on as well... MONEY. ;)

Also, quit sweating him. It's his cash, and there is no rule that says if you make millions or billions of dollars you are required to give some money to charity organizations.

Anyway most charity givers do it for good press so that idiots like OP would judge their good character. Especially companies - do you think they donate because of their good will? No, they donate because they have to in order to present their company well in the eyes of sheep like OP.

VikingMan 10-05-2011 07:59 PM

Steve Jobs did more in his life than any of us so who are we to question him. He was certainly inspiring to me and many other people.

Jack Sparrow 10-05-2011 08:52 PM

Fuckwit of the year award goes to the op.
Let him die slow and painfully.

I don't think he deserved a thread like this...

Tjeezers 10-05-2011 09:07 PM

I always thought apple users where some sort of a club
Now their leader died.... Are apple stores going to implode now world wide? Or are people going in to the streets and demand a revolution?

Yet, a man died who was responsible for almost one of the biggest products in the world. Shocking....

thats how you judge people? :1orglaugh:1orglaugh

you know how much of your dollar actually goes to charity? between 40 and 60% for most charities... how do you think all those people at Red Cross get paid?

who really gives a fuck, I don't donate because I want my $1 to go 100% to people who need it, not to someones salary

Donating money to cancer research might have been a good thing.
