What are your strange personal habits?
 

My last post of the night, was thinking about some of the quirky little things people do.

What are your strange habits?

For example:

I fill up a glass 2/3 of the way instead of full, because I don't want to be wasteful. Even if I am going to drink a second glass.

I pick up a smaller fork sometimes when I'm hungry because I want the food to last longer.

Just weird shit I know we all do, little habits you formed a long time ago and you do your entire life without thinking how they'd look to others.

Anyhow, post your own weird habits.

I use my Bic lighter to open my bottled beers.

I blow in a glass before I fill it for myself ~ like there's dust in it or something...?

That's my most neurotic habit.

I cover my mouse with a tisshue.... isnt that fucking obsessive compulsive... I dont want it to get dirty. :eatmouse

when i'm thinking up some new idea/deal, i'll get up and start pacing the room, usually without really noticing...

I have weird habits. Like starting sentences but not...

Dito..... the longer without showering... the better... somthing about that smell..... makes me want more.

i check the closets every time before i hit the sack.. could be someone's hiding in there

i'm running my mouse pointer in square and circular patterns on the screen obsessively, over & over, probably got 100+ squares done while writing this

i eat in bed, frequently

even though i have about 30 forks in the drawer, i only ever use the special one

same with the mouth dont try it though or you might get addicted. i have been for so long.

I just thought of some weird habits.
I'm doing it right now, I pull my shirt up over my nose. My face gets hot after a while so then I pull the shirt down, but then before I know it it's up there again. I don't even realize that I do it. Also if I wear a hooded sweatshirt, I pull the shirt up over my nose, and then I pull the hood down over my eyes so I just see out of a little slit.

I don't know why I do this. Maybe it's my low self-esteem issues.

I will only drink coffee or tea out of thin china cups, I HATE thick diner style mugs.

I can barely stand to touch wooden spoons that have been washed a bunch of times and are all rough.

I will only use the original Q-tips and I rip half of the cotton off and seriously dig around my ear with my eyes closed and a goofy look on my face, I think my G spot is located in my ear.

Oh ya... i forgot, I have this weird thing i do....

When i eat french fries, i crunch them every 1/2 inch or so as i'm putting them in my mouth. Bugs the shit out of my wife.

Heh, i rinse mine out. Dunno why, they're in the cabinet upside down, not like anything's gonna appear inside them.

When I'm reading a story on a news site or if I'm reading a long post.. I find myself highlighting the text with the mouse as I'm reading... I don't know why I do it.. Maybe it helps me keep my place.

dude, i do the EXACT same tthing.. just random words and phrases here and there.

I constantly readjust heat vents in the house, as if it's
going to save me money when I KNOW perfectly well
that the thermostat is beside the gas fire place I keep
turning on so that the furnace doesn't run.

While I'm using it.... otherwise Id have to wash my hands all the time and I hate those little brown nuggets that collect on the mouse. My mouse is like new still. Its kinda the same concept as old wopmen putting plastic on the couch. (all be it demented)

I also sleep with my blanket wrapped around my head with only my nose poking out

When i eat, i put the fork down every time while i chew, and pick it back up to take another bite.


I pace alot when i'm on the phone and i'll find myself trying to avoid the cracks in the wooden floor as i do it. Same thing when i pace cuz i have an idea.

If you use a public restroom do you use the towel you tried your hands with to turn off the water and also to open the door?

Nope... and I don't do any other "as good as it gets" type things... like repeated hand washing and my place is a MESS. Its justing somthing about having a greasy mouse.... I cant stand it. I think I spend too much time on my PC.

I like to get cracked out hoes to carve their phone number into my chest with a rusty razor blade.

I like to scratch my nuts regularly. I might have crabs. But scratching just feels so fucking good.. occasionally I smell my fingers afterwards.

i wash my hands alot. i hate syrup because its so sticky, and wont go near it because if i pick it up i will need to wash my hands. if i wash dishes i wash my hands after im done.
before i go to bed i swear i must wash my hands at least 2 times.
however, i have no problem writing on my hands with a pen. i dont seem to be bothered by it for some strange reason. maybe because i dont feel the ink on my skin.

maybe I have low self esteem issues.

I can't stand still when talking on the phone. I usually walk around in circle or something... (thank god for cordless phones)
