Did you pay for Photoshop?

................or is everyone still using cracked copies? lol

L-Pink 12-03-2009 04:48 PM

Yes .......

.

Bitchboy 12-03-2009 04:54 PM

I'm just asking because it looks like I'll have to break down and buy it. I've been using 7.0 forever (even then i jerked off in front of his old perv dude in return for it. what can i say i was desperate for it and i think he had a hidden video camera). Since then I've gotten nothing but sabotoged crack files every time I try the newer ones. Nasty stuff, but I guess I was asking for it.

HomerSimpson 12-03-2009 05:01 PM

if you just crop and resize... no need for it...
you can use some free (or cheap) software like GIMP, FastStone Image Viewer, Paint.NET or ACDSee (you can download it all in here: http://www.filehorse.com/software-im...digital-photo/)

if you are doing designs with it you can pay it off with 1-2 works...

abadfish 12-03-2009 05:03 PM

I've done both... It's so damn expensive I can't shell out full price every time I upgrade. I just installed CS4 for Photoshop and Dreamweaver on my computer and they look nice. Just using the free trials right now. My old computer wouldn't run CS4 and I doubt my outdated copies wont run on this new machine so I am not sure what to do.

Waddymelon 12-03-2009 05:03 PM

The last photoshop I bought was photoshop 7, and thats the one I still use.

abadfish 12-03-2009 05:06 PM

BTW, does anyone know anything about Photoshop Elements? It's reasonably priced. Usually all I do in PS is clone, blur, healing brush, resize(batch) so I don't do a lot with it.

same here ... worth it and still great :2 cents:

stoner529 12-03-2009 05:40 PM

used to get cracks but couldnt stand the potential for spyware on my system from the those keygens. so luckily my wife went back to college and for just 349 i got ps cs4 dreamweaver cs4 bridge, flash, illustrator, fireworks, acrobat soundbooth contribute and device central. great deal if you ask me. so if you have any kids in school or anything, i advise using it to your advantage! after all, every child needs to learn how to crop out their pics before sexting

Glad there are still some people are there that are too computer illiterate to use pirated software :thumbsup

Yes...CS3...the whole kit-and-kaboodle...

XD2 12-03-2009 05:56 PM

[fact]Being located in the UK it would be cheaper for me to fly to the US stay in a hotel buy a copy of Adobe Web Premium and fly back again, then it is for me to go to the shop and buy it.[/fact]

Is that Adobe's cock I can feel in my ass :(

Ditto here. Worth the money if you use it regularly.

WebAdultSolution 12-03-2009 06:01 PM

I am using cracked copies....enough for me.... not using it often

HandballJim 12-03-2009 08:09 PM

hell no, still using 7. If I get a new computer with windows 7 I might need to search for a copy that works. hmmm will XP programs work on windows 7?

rowan 12-03-2009 08:45 PM

I didn't have to jerk off for anyone to get my copy of Photoshop, although given what Adobe charge for the full version my ass does feel a little sore.

I'm about to buy a new camera which CS2 doesn't support so I guess I'll be getting out the lube again, here's my ass and some cash, give me CS4 please!

jtrade 12-03-2009 08:56 PM

if you make money with it you SHOULD buy it...

AmeliaG 12-03-2009 08:57 PM

I bought it and many upgrades over the years, but I didn't buy the most recent because it really annoys me that I own a ton of Adobe products and Adobe doesn't have any special pricing for someone like me to get one of the suites.

I feel the same.

harvey 12-03-2009 09:56 PM

Yes, I run a legal copy and use CS2 because the difference doesn't worth it for me to buy CS4. CS2 does anything and everything I want without taking a shitload of PC resources so really no point in wasting money on something like that

Spunky 12-03-2009 10:22 PM

Damn, having to jerk off for software..lol

I gots me 2 licensed copies of photoshop. I pay for all my software (and music). It'd be sad not to, and then complain about porn pirates.

JamesK 12-04-2009 01:16 AM

I'd feel guilty if I didn't. That application has made me a lot of money. Same with DW, Smart FTP Pro and other great software.

V_RocKs 12-04-2009 01:36 AM

I started off with a pirated copy of pretty much everything.

I also started off with 5 free domains, $4.95 a month hosting and I even used a cracked copy of a trading program.

Once I started making cash I started replacing everything. Bought someone out of their trade software license and had it reinstalled on my server, etc...

Then I started buying copies of everything. Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Windows, Office, ACDSee, winzip (didn't know windows would eventually fucking include it in explorer), and the list goes on.

I have no problem with someone trying something out and making a grip and then buying it. So I have a love/hate relationship with pirates...

If I had a nickle for every program I "tried" and thought what a piece of shit I'd have an awful lot of pickles...

Raf1 12-04-2009 01:42 AM

I have to have everything legal because I run a printing company and we do most of the design work in-house.

Emil 12-04-2009 01:48 AM

No, I downloaded it.

The tubes made me do it! :(

I have PS 7 (paid for and still have the box) and recently got a new system with windows vista 64 and it simply wont run no matter what "fix" I try. Have not done the windows 7 upgrade on this machine yet but will try again, hoping the backwards compatibility works correctly.

If it doesn't I'm not worried as I have it installed along with preset droplets (batches) already hot keyed on 2 other machines plus my lap top.

Not being a designer I can't justify the cost of CS4, especially with the number of free programs and web aps that do all I need to do on a daily basis

sicone 12-04-2009 06:37 AM

btw.....

FTW...

Who here remembers buying a camera or something and getting Photoshop Deluxe Small Business Edition?? Way back in 1994-95. I remember losing my disc and had to pay like $200 for PS Deluxe Home Edition because you couldnt buy the SB Edition without hardware. I still have CS2 installed because it has the awesome CS2 ImageReady which is probably in CS4 but I cant figure out where. Like a poster above sometimes "trying" software out has saved me a grip of cash because in the end it didnt do what I needed anyway I just thought it would. I always buy he software that makes me money because if noone bought it they would eventually go away and it you couldnt buy new versions.
Im sure the price is so high because of all the ARRRRRR Pirates in the world.
