I just walked out of Iron Man...

I thought it was boring and could pretty much guess what the end was going to be

libertygone 05-26-2008 01:27 AM

yeah that seems to happen to a lot of movies lately.. pieces of shit..

Zuzana Designs 05-26-2008 01:29 AM

I never watched the cartoon but my son wants to see it so I'm going tomorrow. Was it bad because you know the story line? Or just bad as a movie (say, if it was just one you knew nothing about)?

sicone 05-26-2008 01:30 AM

I think I'll be waiting for HBO to see this movie

CyberHustler 05-26-2008 01:37 AM

My wife made me watch Narnia today. I was ready to get some nap time in because I assumed it was going to suck. Turns out it was a good movie. Go see it. :thumbsup

My son wants to go see that movie. This is his last week of school for the yr so I will most likely take him on Thursday.

Me too! She made me watch the first one and it did put me to sleep but the second one was actually not too shabby.

As for Iron Man the gf loved it but I thought it was just alright. I'm satisfied with my $10 investment :thumbsup

StuartD 05-26-2008 03:28 AM

Yeah, it made $100mil in a week-end... clearly it was the worst film ever made.

You should go and walk out on it again.

CDSmith 05-26-2008 03:35 AM

You are far too cool for a movie like Iron Man.

Try that new Patrick Dempsey flick, what's it called?... "Made of honour"

there you go.

Yeah right.... Bad attempt at drama :2 cents:

If you wanted to see a movie you couldn't guess the end to, why would you even have bothered with Ironman?

Scott McD 05-26-2008 07:04 AM

I got made to go see "What Happens In Vegas" on Saturday.

Turned out to be ok. Nothing special though, a few funny moments...

ungratefulninja 05-26-2008 07:10 AM

The ending was fairly simple to guess, but everyone I know generally enjoyed it..

sniperwolf 05-26-2008 08:35 AM

already watched Ironman and it was awesome to say...

gotta see narnia probably this week! :winkwink:

fris 05-26-2008 08:39 AM

I liked ironman

The Ghost 05-26-2008 08:41 AM

I thought Ironman ROCKED, but to each their own.

gideongallery 05-26-2008 08:46 AM

you realize that the story is based on a comic book, and it followed it pretty closely,
it was written for 12 year old boys so if it suprised you that would be pretty sad.

Pornwolf 05-26-2008 08:55 AM

Considering I have the mentality of a 12 year old it should be no surprise that I loved the movie.

Ironman rocks.:thumbsup

G.A.F 05-26-2008 08:59 AM

I didn't see it yet.
But I guess I'll wait for the DVD. :)

Martin 05-26-2008 09:01 AM

I liked it...

stickyfingerz 05-26-2008 09:03 AM

Really? In my opinion it was one of the best movies in the last 2 years or more. :2 cents:

mrkris 05-26-2008 09:03 AM

You're crazy. Iron Man was a great movie. It was voted (so far) best movie of 2008 and brought in 122~mil opening weekend.

pr0 05-26-2008 09:09 AM

they can't make a super-hero movie too hard to follow

the kind of people who go to see them....aren't well "rock scientists" ; )

BlackCrayon 05-26-2008 09:15 AM

seems like a cheesy rip off of robocop.

Hmm are you familiar with Robocob, or Ironman? :uhoh

dissipate 05-26-2008 09:18 AM

I saw it yesterday, didn't think it was too bad. of course it was a super-hero movie, they're supposed to be cheesy on some level.

I thought it was awesome....

pr0 05-26-2008 09:59 AM

Dudes in robotic type suits fight crime. Whats the difference?

NETbilling 05-26-2008 10:10 AM

I took my kids and thought is was pretty good for a kids movie, not an adult movie. Allan - you have no kids so go see an adult movie next time.

pornguy 05-26-2008 10:18 AM

I never saw the cartoon either. But I enjoyed the movie.

who 05-26-2008 10:22 AM

It's just that they make these movies for younger audiences.

Basher 05-26-2008 10:27 AM

I watched doomsday the other day now that is a shit film. I cant wait to see the new Day of the dead when it comes out though:thumbsup

Robocop was a cyborg, the guy died and was put in a machine, Ironman Isn't. Ironman comic was out WAY WAY before Robocop was ever thought of, so to say Ironman was a ripoff would be a tad backwards, since the comic came out around 1963.
