Mr. Sexbankroll comments on spyware / zango allegations

Just thought everyone should see this.


So if you find them using zango, being promoted on spyware, spam, etc... make sure to report them, they said they don't support it and will shut down the affiliate.

As far as zango Sexbankroll's sites have been on it from the first day I can across zango. I guess those affiliates keep making new accounts. I don't get it. Affiliate gets his account shut down, no money sent. Next day opens new account, uses zango, gets it closed down, no money sent. Next day opens new account, uses zango, etc. etc.. for months... it is me or is something not adding up here.

i doubt they ever had a more targetted audience of people who would consider using their services then here. And you've spelt it out that you can make money with them. so now tons more people are using them.

actually, when sites like AFF says it is unprofitable for them to use zango, I think that tells people a lot. AFF obviously makes more than their affiliates, and from what I hear their payout is pretty competitive. As far as companies go AFF doesn't have a fraction of the overhead that other companies have, so if AFF is saying zango is unprofitable, I think that kinda goes against what you saying.

I hear people like you make comments ALL DAY LONG, but not one person has been able to reply back and tell me how zango making more money hurts me. There really is no catch-22.

That would be like me telling you every time you make a dot xxx post you doing more harm than good because people might get scared and go pre-register their dot xxx domain, and the more pre-registrations make the people pushing dot xxx look like more people want it.

he wants webmasters to know who use it, so they avoid the sponsor. Also, the more people that know about it, the higher the cost is per click which doesn't make it as profitable for people buying his domains.

Actually, the more business Zango get, the higher profile they become, which in turn is bound to get some more scrutiny from the authorities. They've already been slapped with a hefty fine by the FSC, it's only a matter of time before they end up up shit creek again.

I could so easily tear sexbankroll to shreds based on their silence and this one pathetic response but why waste my time as nobody wants to know because as soon as the thread is off page one it is pretty much history and that apparently suits everybody just fine.

Every "SponsorX + zango/stolen content" post I have made lately has dropped like a lead balloon.

I even posted where I saw a playboy ad on a torrent site and no comment, nothing despite Lensman saying it was wrong to advertise there. :error


1) The sponsor won't reply. Silence equals guilt in this case.

2) Affiliates of sexbankroll or other sponsors using zango won't reply as it hits too close to home.

3) The number of actual webmasters on gfy who think this concerns them is still very small.

and 4) It seems it just isn't cool to call out sponsors on zango if they are not AFF.

Well at least google is gobbling it all up so people searching for info on these sponsors in the future will be better informed. :thumbsup

I'm someone with traffic and knowledge and like to know I am sending my traffic somewhere it's appreciated.

When someone uses Zango it's like they contact you and say "hey send me 1000 visitors and we'll credit you for 750, sound fair?

Will has indirectly played a large part in effectively forcing some of the largest sponsors to stop stealing from their own affiliates. With the increased awareness to Zango, more webmasters tried it out, thus raising the cost per click dramatically. Sponsors that had been using the system to rob their own affililates for months with little to no competition on click bidding, suddenly had to pay triple for the same clicks and it became cost ineffective for them to continue.

The reason AFF became the brunt of Will's crusade is because they openly admitted to what they were doing and Lars' smug attitude just fueled the fire. Other sponsors chose to remain silent and just take their lumps while AFF became defiant and even called their own affiliates "sheep"

Since this industry isn't able to control Zango, the only alternative was to try and police those within our industry stealing from others. I'm sure ultimately the increased exposure added to Zango's revenue, but it also made it unprofitable for many to continue using their system to steal from others.







What Will is trying to do is control who uses Zango, if people in adult don't use them, then adult is a better place. Obviously he cannot stop Zango, but he can stop people from using them. How is this bad phoenix?

Will has asked numerous times about sexsearch and etc, and they don't comment, not much more he can do. When he commented on AFF they replied back.

Has nothing to do with a BAAA man, when I found that thread and saw what was going on I pulled my AFF links, plain and simple.

Any affiliate that does business with sponsors who use Zango is either greedy or ignorant, or both. Any sponsor affiliated with Zango is a poor businessman and a thief. /bump

My name isn't Will but here's my opinion on nightsurf. It appears to be an agreement between Ifriends and MSN where Ifriends pays to get top listings on pretty much all adult keyword searches on MSN Search.

Just like people buying PPC listings on Google get their ads featured above/more prominently than organic results.

Is it ethical that someone's listing gets displayed above mine just because they paid? Who gives a fuck ...tough shit for me. MSN, Google etc are free to monetize their pages as they see fit as long as it is legal.

So are nitesurf and the Adwords etc guys "stealing" sales from me?

In a way they are but if you call that stealing, then so are all the sites listed above me in the regular search results as I would more likely get the visitor/sale if I was listed above them.

Hardly. zango tries to take the visitor/sale once they are at your site with aggressive popups targeted to a site with similar content to yours.

No company is perfect. I don't think Will ever said iFriends was. Indeed iFriends was involved with zango up until a few months ago. They stopped. So did AFF.

I think Will and others are pretty much done with rehashing why AFF started/stopped using zango.

He is currently trying to engage those sponsors who are still using zango in a dialogue but they are too chicken shit to even reply and, unlike AFF where everyone jumped on the bandwagon to criticize their use of zango, everybody is deafeningly quiet when SponsorX and zango is mentioned so it's a lost cause for now but one might snap soon and actually man up and at least try to defend their actions here you never know.

Ozman: AFF is one of the biggest sponsors, and almost everyone at one time or another has used them. SBR (no disrepect to DK and his crew) is a relatively new deal and is maybe used by 10% of webmasters (but is growing, I heard).

AFF as a result gets at least 90% more grief for being arrogant enough to not only buy ads over their affiliates traffic, but to actually admit the same in public. It isn't just a case of using Zango, but having a total "fuck you" attitude that included the imfamous "Zango forced me" excuse that will go down in online porn history as one of truly classic lines.

AFF got it because they earned it.
