CaliforniaCoeds.com on eBay
|
Nice domain. What's the appraised value?
|
Nice domain name. :thumbsup

We didn't have a formal appraisal, but our estimates are as follows. We estimate the low end is mid five figures, and the high end is low six figures. Coed is a very hot niche right now. You can possibly create a site like SoCalCoeds.com, NebraskaCoeds.com, etc.. What kind of revenue can such a site generate? Alot, but the specifics depend on the acquirer. Like all properties, it is most valuable at the highest and best use. A large company like Adult.com/ Playboy could have an easier time generating traffic for it, so it would be more valuable to a company like that. That's why the range in value. |
Bump for a great domain!

Bump for my fellow quahogger. :)

nice domain weve got some coeds domains parked too you never know
|
If the bidding hits 5 figures I will be highly surprised. Yes adult.com could better generate traffic to it. Same as they could better generate traffic to californiacollegeslutslive.com. Good luck.
|
I'm not being negative at all here, just giving an honest opinion: it's not worth 5 figures. In my opinion, I think it's worth hundreds, not even thousands. Maybe $500 to $1,000 at the most. Seriously.

How much do 15 letter domains usually go for?
quick somebody register hardtospellurls.com |

exactly. |
so it's at 2 dollars right now
|
It's only 1 day into a 7 day auction.
Sure it's long, but it's only two words, and good ones. :) |

$500 to $1,000. Probably closer to $500. |
Duplicate Entry.
|
To the right person you might get 10k. but not more than that.

|
ill give you 5 fiddy for it
|
Thanks for all the interest in this name.
It will do well. Some pornographer will end up making alot of money with it. :) |
WE should start a pool on how high it goes on eBay. My research suggests that eBay is the worst place to sell a domain and I will never understand why people post an item with a reserve of "X" and start the bids at 2.29. If you want 200,000.00 then start the fucking bids at 200k. Why waste your time and everyone elses time with a 2.29 cent starting bid.
My prediction is that this domain will not go over 600.00. My official prediction is 592.51. |
...and. You should have posted the auction under an account with more than (10) positive feedback. I have 2259 positive and would gladly post the auction for you for 10 or 15 points. People will not bid very high when a seller has a feedback rating of 10.

Although, I have been a member of eBay since 1999. :) |
Current number of bids: 14
Current high bid amount: $305 Current time left: 3 days :) |
not sure it's worth $305
having a reserve puts people off bidding |
Think about all those coeds frolicking on the beach. Think about all of those coeds in the pool with their skimpy bikinis. Think about all those coeds in their dorm rooms having sex or just changing their clothes.
Now, think about all the guys in California (and elsewhere) who would go crazy watching them. Think about the money this site could make. Think about the nice alliterative brandable domain name which could be yours! Think about YOUR affiliate program sponsoring this orgy of young bodies and money! Stop joking about three hundred dollars or even five hundred dollars. Be real! Where are all the big pimps?! Open your wallet for this. It will make you money!! |
Daddy Halbucks, as I told you on ICQ, you have a very overblown "value" of domains... at least of those you are involved with. Looks like my $500 - $1000 estimate was a bit high.
And you are HIGH thinking "5 figures". |
This is also the man who thinks CoedCash.com is worth $50k (and doesn't even have the plural, CoedsCash.com, to go with it).
Dude, you are HIGH. What are you smokin'? |

Donny, thanks for your offer to tutor me on domains. You told me you have a "few hundred" domains. Dude, I own almost 20,000 domains! If you are feeling envious or bad about yourself, go buy a Fleshlight and lube it up and have some fun. Juicy is a nice guy and he would probably give you a discount on one. But, stop crapping on my sales thread! :( |
I own CoedBank and a few other coed domains such as CampusCoeds
|
cool end domain :P
|
On ICQ, Donny offered me $100 for CoedCash.com, and I turned him down flat.
That's why he is being difficult. Yup, he made a super generous offer of $100 for CoedCash.com. "What am I smokin'?" What are YOU smoking!!! |
A little more than 1 day to go on the auction.
:) |
Not a bad name but come on "We estimate the low end is mid five figures, and the high end is low six figures" thats simply ridiculous.

DHB saw the headlines of X domain selling for XXX million. He decided to get into the domain market and get him summa dat. He or someone he knows bought up shitloads of names when pulling some b/s like californiacoeds.com was a $20 registration fee. After accumulating hundreds or thousands of these domains he found a few suckers along the way that bought into the hype and wanted to get rich on domains. (Amway ring a bell) This reinforced the idea to him that his domains are worth 500 times the actual market price. I'm sure he's made some nice sales along the way, when you find that special buyer for that special name you can get some big bucks. You also post on GFY that you're selling a mediocre name that you estimate to be worth 5 to 6 figures. :1orglaugh $305 is a damn good offer for that crap. You can register equally valuable names still today with a little digging. |

I specialize in branding, and I have seen brandable names sell between $30,000 up to $110,000. Yes, all the way up there. Actually, I know of one guy who sold a brandable name (without traffic) for $50,000 --but the acquirer would have paid, and had authorized, up to $250,000 to acquire it. The seller had no clue. The buyer wanted to sell a product by that name. The seller left $200,000 on the table. So, you have willing buyers for such brandable names all the way up to $250,000. There are probably a lot more examples of even higher ones. We believe that [CaliforniaCoeds.com] would make a great marketable site that would make hundreds of thousands of dollars in profit. That has value. That makes "mid five figures" look like a good buy. Domains are unique pieces of real estate. |
