substitue all ur drinks with Water :)

Cut booze ;)

Anna_O 12-13-2005 05:44 PM

Drink red wine instead of beer.

Babagirls 12-13-2005 05:48 PM

pretty much a good start.
i've dropped 20 (out of the 60 pds i need to shed) in 2 months.

i drink nothing but water, i dont eat anything fried (including fast food), very little sugar, no salt (i use a salt substitute), only 100% wheat bread and i JUST started to do cardio again. (45 mins every other day)

i just went to a kickboxing center last night, thinkin about starting that back up. that shit will whip any fat ass back into a skinny fucker in 3 months or less lol $450 for 6 months....still thinkin about it...

AlienQ - BANNED FOR LIFE 12-13-2005 05:48 PM

Crystal Meth.

Thats what I heard anyways.

There was this girl I knew and she was overweight, got on a good diet of Crystal Meth and boom, she thinned up and looked great.

Side effect was just a little slurred speech and comprehension problems :thumbsup

BigCashCrew 12-13-2005 05:48 PM

I'm feeling the same thing over here man. My pants are getting tight. I was working out 6x a week, then got busy running this program and all my exercise has gone to shit. It's amazing how fast you can put the weight on.

Your routine sounds good. Anything is better than nothing. Make sure to drink plenty of water and try to eat 6 small meals a day to speed up the metabolism.

Watch EVERYTHING you eat and go jogging every day. (And do crunches)

That worked for me.

If you are serious and are ready to put forth the effort, I can help. I have a 6 week program that is unreal. I designed it myself. I studied nutrition and herbal remedies in college. I've read Health and Fitness magz and books my whole life.

I am 6'1" and 180. Got a eight pack and everything. But its not easy and you have to work for it. Its a combo of the right workout and right diet. And with my plan, you need no weights. You can do your workout in your house, hotel or anywhere.

Diego 12-13-2005 05:55 PM

Juicybabes,

I didn't even read the posts beneath your threadstarter BUT....Just walk....slow jog.
Most people think the secret to losing weight is dieting. That might be a small part...but in my experience, every time I get out and work myself back up to jogging...I drop pounds like you wouldn't believe.

By the way...I'm female, 5'5" and 125lbs.

Many times I've really gone over what I felt was comfortable in weight....fuck the diet shit...never worked.

Every time tho, all it took was doing about 5 miles in walking/running. period.

By the way, Juicy, you light up my life on GFY

No DVDs. I believe in one on one work. Everyone is different. They have different lifestyles, different bad habbits and different weaknesses. I custom make a program per person.

I have worked with a total of 6 people over the past few years and they all have been successfull.

If anyone is interested in looking and feeling better inside and out ... just holla.

I feel the squeeze STARTING. I'm about 6' 1" 190 . I'd feel like my old self if I was about 180 with an extra 5-10 of muscle on board :thumbsup

I'm down for some insight....ICQ? EMAIL?

Hey You . . . I Know You! 12-13-2005 06:55 PM

How old are you juicy? If you are in your thirties, you will find it a lot harder to whip up into shape (than you did in your twenties).

I agree, drink a lot of water! Another thing, if you need to drink soda pop, drink diet 7up. It has no sugar, no caffeine and tastes great (splenda), but you should really try to drink more water.

I agree with the walking and or slow jog. Just getting out and about will be good! After a while, you might feel like speeding things up. YOU MUST buy nice running shoes if you decide to jog. It might take you a few tries to find the perfect shoe for you, but it is important for avoiding injury. Go to a specialty (running) shoe store and they can help guide you. In addition, when you have the perfect shoe, running is actually easier.

Free weights are always great too!

BigCashCrew 12-13-2005 07:04 PM

after my post I had to go workout. i can't stand sitting on my ass all day. lol

It's really easy. You need to burn more calories than you eat. Yes, it's that easy.

Do you still take meds? Maybe that's the reason why. I know Xanax can give you more appetite. I don't know what's your taking or even if you're still taking meds, but it can seriously affect your weight. And yes, to be honest, you're getting fatter.

DeloreanRider99 12-13-2005 07:10 PM

Yes, for sure cut out heavy soda drinking and other sugers. Ive cut back alot and I feel alot better and Im sleeping alot better. Now I only drink soda 1-2 times a week compared to when I use to drink soda everyday :(

Eat carbo's before workout and then protien after workout. Also if you drink gatorade, drink it after a heavy workout. Drinking it before is just a bad sugar intake.

That is an unusual approach. Interesting.

One funny image that came to mind was (not that you were really fat) but a REALLY FAT sloppy jesus hanging on the cross. It might not have had the same effect as the skinny jesus on the crucifix that everyone knows. Just your board name and the topic made me wonder.

Marshal 12-13-2005 07:23 PM

good luck, juicy! :)

I'm going to write up a basic idea and start a thread. Remeber this will be basic but usefull. If anyone after that has questions, then you can post away. Maybe this will be good for some of you guys and gals. Drop some weight and tighten your body up for Vegas. Give me a little to write it.

King Adam 12-13-2005 07:27 PM

Just remember, there is no one way of doing it. Its about balance. There is nothing you HAVE to cut out .... just adjustments to balance your body. Everyone is built different and everyones body works differently.

Perhaps your "tight pants" are simply a result of being around pics and movies of hot naked babes???

Diego 12-13-2005 07:44 PM

Juicy,

I've ran the gamut of anti-depressants...pfft. I can honestly tell you that most of my most high drama moments were when I was on them.

In a nutshell....In the morning.....I have coffee....I also take two St. John's Wort pills. Within about 20 minutes my mood elevates...in a HUGE mood.

I am productive, happy and satisfied.

This is just a suggestion...also, give the St. John's Wort about 6 weeks to take effect before you decide it's not right for you.

You are much stronger than you think. It's all in your choices.
