1. Quit smoking - Gives you more energy, even the day after.
2. NO alcohol. This is banned. (sorry:) 3. Once you stopped smoking you have more energy - Begin walking 1-2 miles a day. 4. After 1 week, begin running 1 mile a day - Like the Arabs, 1000 steps after each meal. 5. You are what you eat, eat green, drink water. 6. No sucar "what-so-ever". Not even in your mokka. 7. Once you can run on a regular basis, do this 3-4 times a week depending on your stamina. 8. Run Forest run! I lost 10 kilograms within 3 weeks following these rules. Then I began drinking beer again and gained 10 kilograms on 14 days :( I forgot the 8 remarks stated above. I'm sure that's the reason! -w |
Take 10 minute pushup/situp breaks once an hour while you crank on the computer. By the end of the day you will have done hundreds without hardly noticing, plus the mild excercize will keep you 1)drinking water 2)awake and focused and 3)needing less coffee and 4)burning calories all day

yeah man I dropped about 100lbs my self.. best tip is eat frequent smaller meals... don't starve your self ever, that's the worse thing you can do. Your body will go into "Starvation mode" and keep everything you intake...
Also do your cardio AFTER your weight training, and TRAIN HARD training burns WAY more calories than cardio, because it keeps burning them after you leave the gym. The reason you should do your cardio after, is so that you have more energy to put into your sets at the gym. Use "splenda" instead of sugar, drink ONLY water, don't worry if you screw up and eat a big mac.. it's only one meal. Don't go crazy about it, it's fine to screw up once in a while. |
Get a personal trainer. Learn how to work the body. Work out for one month to get over initial soreness then, Winstrol 50 mg every day, Tren acetate(fina)75 mg everyday, clenbuterol 125 mcg 2 days on 1 off. You will be on the cover of Mens health in 8 weeks. If ya really want to know how they do it...

You are all way too healthy. No wonder social security is going broke.

50 Pounds overweight.
|
it's all about balance.
Drink a lot of water Watch everything you eat... some thing you think might be good for the health, aren't at all (crackers etc). White meat like chicken breast or white tuna is a lot lot lot better then red meat. Excercise a little and you'll get results |
my uncle said smoking crack is kinda cool :)
Seriously i am in the same boat you are so last week i quit smoking stopped drinking caffeine 2 mile walk 3 times a week push ups and sit ups every day feeling better and looking better already Abyss Wargames has spoken :winkwink: |

I have lost 40 pounds since August and 75 pounds in the last year and a half. I have a very large build and am 6' 1 so when I am in my best shape I am weighing somewhere around 220. The years of webmastering really caught up with me and before I knew it I was over 335 pounds. About a year and a half ago I started playing softball and wow was I in for a shock when I got out there and realized how bad I had let myself go. At first I went to just drinking water, I was still eating bad, but not nearly as bad as before. Playing softball and just drinking water for a little over a year got me down to around 300. However after this softball season was over I decided I wasnt gonna slip and let myself gain 5-10 pounds like I did last fall/winter. So right after softball ended this summer I decided to get serious about losing weight.
It was around the first week of September that I started my current regiment of taking 75mg of ephederine and 600mg of caffeine daily, along with only eating one meal a day. I take my pills right after I wake up in the morning all in one dose (I tried spacing them out but if I take any past noon then I cant sleep at night). You may think that with only eating once a day you slow your body down and would feel drained, but the ephederine/caffeine cocktail gives me 100x the energy that I used to have, I used to be somewhat depressed but the pills have helped with that, I get more work done than ever and the house has never been kept cleaner, haha (as a side effect I became a neat freak). I usually eat my one meal around 4-6 pm, I eat pretty much whatever I want, but within reason. I dont pig out, I cut out all snacking, and I have kept on drinking water (everyone once in a while I will drink Sprite or Sierra Mist, but 99% water). Still not exercising as much as I would like to, but I got plans to start running a mile a day with some heavy weight training. So far I am down to 260, and I am sure that once I pick up a treadmill here in a couple weeks and can get that mile a day in I will drop to around 230 pretty quickly. The main thing for me was to change my outlook on food, like someone said earlier its about eating to live and not living to eat, the ephederine and caffeine pills have helped alot on appetite suppression, engergy, and as a metabolism boost, but it all boils down to how you eat and making a lifestyle change. |
Get a steady girl and work those abs with some hard power slamming

Ok .. I've started the thread for the balance of your life with eating and exercise.
https://gfy.com/fucking-around-and-business-discussion/551916-healthy-webmaster.html Sorry Juicy ... I'm not trying to steal your thread. I got nothin but love for ya. Plus everyone knows you anyway :) |
Probably repeating most of what has been said but the simple things that I learned from my personal trainer and just daily life are:
1) Stop the soda and caffeine in general, if needed, do tea or iced tea with no sugar. 2) Pick up a gallon of protein shake powder, mix a glass with some water or skim milk before any workout. 3) Depending on what time you go to sleep, no carbs for about 5 hours prior to that. 4) 30 min of cardio at least 3 times a week 5) No more BEER! If you need to drink, do bacardi and diet coke. At least you get no sugar and calories in it. A glass of red wine still has calories but is still better for you. 6) If you are like me and your middle area is your trouble area, working on your core muscles is key. Look into pilates type workout... ITS NOT GAY! :-) Also, write down what you eat and serving size in a journal. It will help you keep track and see what exactly you are putting in your body, makes you more conscience. Also, you can look up avg calories on a website like www.calorieking.com. Keeping track of your calories and physical activity will put you on the right track. Good luck to you. I know how it feels, I gained 35 lbs when I moved back here from the Middle East, and although I was WAYYYY too skinny before, i still have my trouble zones. Oh yes.. and quit smoking.. or at least as much as possible. I "quit" a while ago and its only isolated to when I travel and the occasional cigarette with drink while partying. |
If any of you are in Seattle my sister is a personal trainer with a private studio in Ballard. Hit me up ICQ 220607297 if you're interested.

If you are a heavy wine drinker ... just mix in some whites. There are some great white wines out there that you can drink casually. |

jogging is a little tough to do, i prefer bicycling every day for 30 minutes---on bad weather days i ride my bike indoors using a bike "trainer". http://www.1upusa.com/bike_trainer.html do not try to lose more than about 1 pound per week, otherwise it won't stay off---it's a lifestyle thing, and you must weigh yourself every day and just stay on the program. it will take you 6 months to a year to really get in the best shape of your life. |
I just got on the zone diet let you know how it goes

hey juicy, like i already posted, i started to gain weight fast & started doing something about it about 2 months ago (20 pounds lighter now)
my thing is that i hate excercising, its fuckin boring and such...BUT i think i may have found a solution to that problem... on FITtv, they have this show called "All Star Workouts"....everyday the 1 hour workout is different!! i love it! keeps things fun and intersting and keeps my attention. i started last night, and i did 45 mins out of the 1 hour workout (didnt wanna over do it) and im sore as fuck today lol Last night was "Hip Hop Dancing" hahaha im sure i looked like a retard doing it but it was fun (and made me laugh lol) but it was so much fun :thumbsup just thought i'd share that with ya. also, if you're gonna stop smoking, go to www.quitnet.com <--that website is the main reason that i stopped AND STAYING QUIT. im the last person that wanted to stop and i never thought i'd have the will power to stop, but that website is the shit and helped me out (its free too, so thats even better lol) you'll be amazed how GOOD YOU FEEL after 2 weeks of not smoking...and then the next month.....and next month.....its fuckin amazing! you're taste buds will come alive, you'll start to smell things alot stronger (i can smell rain now! yes..RAIN! lol) and i know you're more of a social smoker, so just grab some cigars for the Internext's and you'll be fine :) |
I'm gonna go workout now. This thread has me inspired. BBL
