Goddamn idiotic George Bush what a dick

The U.S. has pledged to donate a measly 15 Mil to the eathquake cleanup / relief fund.

What a bunch of fucking cheap ass Jews we must look like to the rest of the world .. 15 million.

I hate to say this, but talk about an opportunity to regain some world favor for the U.S. Think of the impact it would have if we bucked the fuck up and donated a cool Billion to help these people out. It makes me fucking sick ...

George Bush you are a fucking tool, I hope your balls shrivel up and fall off, your ass hole plugs up and you shit yourself to death you fucking faggot.

Goddamn I am ashamed to be an American today.

That was my immediate thought... and linked that to the same amount talked about during his "compassionate conservative" photo opportunity on help with AIDS. They are still waiting for that promise to be fulfilled...

Tho in fairness.. $15 mill is a start and petty cash money to get the ball rolling. It's hard to estimate where the most urgent assistance is needed at the moment, but I'm sure all countries will do their part.

The US military have already started and good to hear this..

The impact on whom? Me? I imagine you are one of the whiners that talk about our deficit, then want to go give money away.

This will be a great time for you to get your last minute charity tax write-off for 2004, be sure to scan a copy of the check you send them. We will all be quite impressed.

that's pretty sad, man.

Maybe I got a little out of hand with the "One Beeelion" dollars, but come on. 15 mil isn't going to do shit.

At what point does a human being become so greedy and selfish that they lose all sense of humanity? How did it happen to you? When did you forget the word compassion?

True.. 15 million is nothing - a couple of wealthy individuals can write a check for that amount. For a country, it's peanuts. Don't even buy a decent fighter aircraft and less than the fat and oils used to cook dinner on Christmas day.

There are two worlds... one of reality and the other of "I'm OK Jack" cos they live in some lala land. The same thing happened a few years back when a hurricane hit Central America and 12,000 were killed. The most that got was a column on the back page of the US national press, but VERY little in aid. Tho other countries did help, but things are still not back to "normality" years later.

It is good to hear the US is actually doing something - it would be more than embarassing if it did not. Tho it took long enough to be a "story" in the media there - when you look at coverage in the media elsewhere.

Don't mind baddog, he's been quite the "drunk asshole" ever since his secret homosexual lover dumped him because of his refusal to "felch" him. :flagface

Actually, Canada is considered to be the "Scrooge" of international relief funds.

I don't recall the Thai restaurant around the corner handing out meals when we had an earthquake.

Contrary to popular opinion, it is not our duty to repair all the world's ills. Shit happens. It is part of how we thin the herd.

It is opportunity time.

I cant remember the country or the exact cause but a friend of mine has a brother that went down to help out after some big disaster.

He now owns one of the biggest construction companies in the country and gets many government contracts. People always remember when you help them when they are down on their luck.

Manowar 12-27-2004 05:12 PM

hes gotta pay for that iraq war somehow

dabomb 12-27-2004 05:15 PM

yeah 15 mill is fucking pocket change for us. could we be any cheaper?? and i don't think anybody would look down on us if we gave MORE (just responding to the "damned if we do damned if we don't" comment)....

Exactly.

A great political opportunity as well ... Even if you don't give a shit about the people, we do need allies around the world and what a great opportunity to secure a few more.

True Phoenix!! :-)

There is plenty that can be done to help and in doing so help loads of other people.

I learned a lot from that hurricane shit in Central America.. this was a few years back now, but last year my daughter ended up showing some govt ministers/senators from other countries what had been done.... they were shocked when they saw schools and hospitals half built cos they laid the construction people off because the money was tied up in beaurocratic shit committees all over the globe.

There is load of opportunity to do stuff tho!! :-)

Bullshit. We are constantly helping others when they have natural disasters, when was the last time another country gave us an ounce of credit for doing so?

All we get are assholes like you saying we didn't give enough.

sextoyking 12-27-2004 05:20 PM

Whens the last time anyone ever gave the US a billion dollars to clean up a natural disaster ? Its their country, they have money and resources.

If I'm an asshole, then you are a short-sighted, small-minded fool.

pornguy 12-27-2004 05:26 PM

If you think that 15 million is chump change, then pull that out of your pocket, and send it.

15 will not touch what will be needed, but why in hell would you send money before you know how much is needed.

And why the fuck does the US have to foot the entire bill for everyone in the world. This disaster was not the fault of the US, and they are not obligated to do anything. So I think, that it is damn lucky that the asshole bush was willing to put out a dime.

Definately two worlds! :-)

Did someone miss giving ya credit for something??? What exactly?

I'm sure any help is appreciated and given credit for...

This use of the word "constantly".... where does that come from?

In fact, since ya asked, I believe the US ranks around.. hell can't remember, but between 9th and 14th on the international "giving list" per head.

This equates with around $14 in Demark to $3 in the US per head.

AlienQ - BANNED FOR LIFE 12-27-2004 05:29 PM

Yeah alot of foriegn money helped out the people in Florida!

Fuckin ingrates.

Helix 12-27-2004 05:31 PM

The U.S. usually makes a initial donation to give immediate help, with more to follow as soon as a better evaluation is made.

If you feel ashamed, move out of the U.S.

UniversalPassLorence 12-27-2004 05:32 PM

That is probably an initial donation and there will be more in aids in the future.

Sounds rational and nothing wrong with that!

Nobody knows the full picture on any of this yet - till they do, money means nothing. - it's just impossible to estimate.

There is nothing to be ashamed of in dumping $15M into the pot.

So, Denmark gives $75 million (a year) and the US gives $900 million (a year)?
