Canada has only sent $4 mill. At least the countries are sending something. I don't believe that $4 million is nearly enough from us, however, it sure beats not getting a red cent. And I am sure that more will go out from both countries.

Calling each other ignorant and asshole and other such stuff hardly solves anything... besides, it's not like there's only one person on each side of this... there's lots who share both opinions. So to call one person ignorant is to call a lot of people ignorant. They're not... they just have a different opinion.

Are you an idiot! The US is pledging that upfront for emergency relief. Then the US will pledge individual amounts to each country as it needs it. As always, the US will pledge more than any other country. ALSO - the US the is largest aid to the UN and to the Red Cross. The US money trickles down everywhere!!!
