It ain't about price with this woman. It's about trust. She's had a million offers on this name, but has problems vetting the wankers from the players, and dismisses everyone. I'm one of the few that has got really close to the finish line. But I don't appreciate being jerked, and she reamed me out one too many time, so now it's like "fuck you", I'll just pay someone.

You're not listening: it's not about money. It's about trust. She never REFUSED my offer. She's a nervous ball of confusion AND she says over and over "I'm ready to sell the domain."

AND I've always been high offer by her own admission.

Point it: there are psychological factors at play. The domain was her son's, who died a couple of years ago, and she's really messed up. There's more than money at play.

She needs a personal visit, someone that's not just an email that she connect with.

You shouldn't of went public with this on GFY. Domain sharks are going to eat up this lead, cut you out, etc - Why? Because, this business is cutthroat for one, most lack ethics for two, and three - $10k is not much to most domainers. To GFYers? TGPers? Sure, but domainers? Her son owned the snip.net isp with a friend. I think they have been advising her in some capacity.

Susan is more afraid of getting snaked on the domain, price and technical-wise than she is about actually selling it. She knows it's valuable, but she doesn't quite know where to begin.

The number on the whois is her flower shop. She has an army of people who will help keep you from talking to her on the phone. "Who's calling please?" All kinds of shit.

We suspect her husband wants her to take the cash, but she won't. She's also complains constantly that her businesses take up so much time, and she needs more time.

If you tweak one wrong muscle in her body, she flips out. ALL CAPS OUTRAGE.

Point is, in the beginning it was very difficult to approach the subject, and believe me, I've had some shit in my life, and I am sensitive to people's grief.

But as time goes on, and the endless put downs and delays and bullshit build up, your patience wanes. The daily revenue she's losing is insane, so I even offered to partner with her, and do everything for her. No go.

At every turn, we got green lights and red lights, alternating like a NY intersection. Plus, an adult domain name isn't exactly a keepsake: it's not like we're trying to buy the kid's pet car or something.
