wouldn't it be funny if this was his master plan! :) get countless ppl to bombard her with $10-$15 offers so he can swoop in once and for all and give her peace of mind and $25k. LOL. just kidding... but after chatting with DomBuyer, I believe he would only start a thread like this because he doesn't want to deal with her personally anymore and perhaps exhausted all options. I've experienced this before with some domain owners that give you a price and when you meet their demands, they change their minds... back & forth, etc or keep raising the price, even though you've agreed several times and spent months getting to know them, meeting them, wining & dining, etc... makes it no longer worth my time...
But sometimes it comes down to the owner not truly wanting to part with the name because it holds sentimental value... which seems like the case here. there are a few approaches to take, but too morbid for me... if it truly did belong to her son who passed away, she may never let go of the domain, because she hasn't learned to let go of him yet. :2 cents:
