Goddamn BUSH... What will he do next...
How come none of you idiots are ripping Kerry or Clinton for this?
http://www.cnn.com/2004/ALLPOLITICS/...obe/index.html "In his first public comments since news broke that he is the subject of a federal criminal probe involving top-secret memos, former Clinton administration national security adviser Sandy Berger said Tuesday evening that he made "an honest mistake." "Berger took top-secret documents from the National Archives last year while reviewing materials for the 9/11 commission." Oh yeah real "honest" mistake... "Berger had been serving as an unpaid foreign policy adviser to presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Sen. John Kerry." |
I like how you think :thumbsup

They should throw that bitch in jail with bush. Pelican Bay will do.

how else does a politician not know what *is* means? how else does shoving classified documents down your pants become an" honest mistake" how do the lies of a Joe Wilson dominate the news while the admission of a Russian president that saddam was planning attacks on the US are barely covered? how else does every country in the world along with every congressman and senator believe saddam has WMDs until a republican president acts on this info? |

There is no danger or even sign of inflation. The economy needs to churn for a while before he starts to strangle it. |
I was about to start a thread about that yesterday. I'm voting democratic but I found it ironic that nobody posted the fact that a Democratic national security advisor STOLE documents from the archives.
|
I wonder what exactly he's trying to hide.

low Interest is inflating the housing market like mad....
Avg median home price in LA County is 414,000 Orange County is like 390,000... This past year a 32% increase in real estate values across the board. |
He has no current official station under clinton or kerry.
It was already under investigation. The question is why was it leaked on the night before the 9/11 commision report was to be released, and right before the democratic convention? Bush himself admitted that he shouldnt have used those words in his speech. The new joe wilson thing is just an opinion. It's much more disturbing that Bush stated that he wanted to find out who leaked his wifes name, and we still dont know. Incompetence? Or something else? Anyway, who cares? John Kerry is the candidate. Not joe wilson or sandy berger. If one of Bush's hand picked officials did something wrong, he'd fire them right? :1orglaugh |

Oh and one thing thats managed to slip through the cracks. Those documents were copies. They were not one-of-a-kind original documents, but copies of documents. Just to be clear, people with the right clearance know exactly what was in all of those missing document copies.
You can decide why people who dont know what was in them are speculating instead of finding out if they were critical information or random papers. Pretty fucked up regardless. |
Lets see...
Items were taken, mistakenly or not, in October and an investigation is started by the authorities. Investigation is "discovered" by the so called liberal press days before the Democratic convention. How convienent. |

"I dealt with this issue in October 2003 fully and completely," Berger added. "Everything that I have done all along in this process has been for the purpose of aiding and supporting the work of the 9/11 commission. And any suggestion to the contrary is simply, absolutely wrong."
looks like he dealt with this issue almost a year ago. The Republicans are just bringing it back up to take some heat away from them, for the elections. He is only stepping down temporally and plans to retake his position once this is dealt with again. |

Copies of documents, 12clicks. Copies.
They already knew about it for almost a full year. News of it leaks the day before the 9/11 commision report, and a few days before the dem. convention. Pure coincidence. :clown |

My point is that this is not "breaking news", just a "breaking story". And that, in and of itself, makes it suspect in my eyes.. I feel the same way about berger as I do about the person who Bush said he was going to find asap for leaking a cia operatives name to the press. Both look to be possible treason.. very serious. |

You're joking right!?! hahahahahahhahahah! |

Last set of surveys done 7 months ago throughout the news media industry inthe US put the percentage of reporters, editors, newswriters, and media managers and owners that describe themselves as democrats or liberals at over 87%. The fact that you don't notice how stories are missed, under or overemphasized, etc.... merely speaks to their skill as professional media people. (i.e the story about Putin releasing intelligence that Hussain was planning attacks against the US.....Did you see THAT story screaming accross CNN or the networks?) |
