If the guy a) admitted his wrongdoing, b) dealt with it last year when it was first brought to light and c) only stole copies of otherwise available documents, then isn't this hugely petty to bring it up again?

a) he didn't admit any wrong doing. he said shoving classified documents down his pants was a "careless mistake"

c) he stole copies of CLASSIFIED documents and its been reported that some of the stuff he took were NOT copies. People go to jail for stealing classified documents, whether copies or originals.
