I've been to a few shows the last 2 years, and unless you find a brand new buyer to the hobby your not gonna get much over bid for any coins. By bad what I mean is that even amateur collectors won't pay anywhere near retail anymore. I went to the Orlando funshow and had a hard time getting bid from dealers for slabbed semi-keys. Before Ebay came along you could get retail or close to it from many buyers.

Around 2004 or so I bought 4 huge safes and transfered the contents from the small safes to the big ones. The small ones i recently found in storage I prolly couldn't find the combos for at the time and decided to put them in storage for the moment. Well the moment ended up being 6 years or so. When you have a 15k piece plus coin collection it's easy to misplace and forget about 200 pieces.

i'd suggest a big safety deposit box vs a lot of little flimsy safes in a storage unit. What type of unit was it ? Walk in, inside/ out side etc ?
