But I also think someone would be hard pressed to be active in our industry and not have done business with at least 1 person here or 1 company here. Most of the affiliate programs, hosting, billing companies all post here. I think it would almost be virtually impossible for someone to be active or have been active in the industry and not have done business with someone / company here at least once. You charge $9.95 to join this forum and some asshat will think that is enough to make him important and part of something he has no business butting into. You do business here or not, pretty simple. What are your favorite colored socks while you're fucking are not business threads so it gets pretty easy to see who's worth a fuck or not. I find a lot of good information on this forum without participating in the wild west show. I'm not going to get anything out of a surfer except a waste of time and it's pretty easy to figure out who they are. As far as I'm concerned, if you have no credentials, you have no credentials. When I was shooting my own stuff and had a couple of paysites up, I had just come to gfy, and basically lurked. Any promotion I did was on my own, shot and edited everything on my own, and my wife and I did the site design and management on our own. At that point, I didn't know shit about affiliates, and never had any. We had our own adult merchant account through Woodforest back in the day, I hosted through Blue Gravity, which I've never seen mentioned here on gfy, domains I bought through Blue Gravity. We did our own banners, etc.
Now, we had a run in the phone sex biz, and as I mentioned, my wife and I are now doing work for other phone sex companies. During our run, I did buy content from Stefan @ Amazing Content, and from Paul Markham. Also from Matrix, Ounique, etc. I relied heavily on Ounique for content back then, so my purchases from Stefan and Paul were sporadic, and I doubt that either would remember me as a customer. Stefan might more so than Paul, but even if they did, what does buying some sets of pics from a content provider really prove (especially since the domains they were bought for are offline)? I get sick of these haters and trolls also.
I remember Sykk telling me yrs ago when we had these all day / night pissing matches on NP that "Remember Todd this is just a board"
