Thanx, I read the write up on this and a couple reviews and it seems like what I need, 1TB was good, so this will be better.
My external I have now is 160GB which just isn't cutting it anymore, it's a couple years old

indeed, i bought a 350 gig external from tiger a while back for about 45 bucks, i've had it for a year or so and its fine, so for peripherals they rock and i might even try a laptop next year because they have some insane 'puter deals.

B&H sells way more than just cameras. I've purchased computers, monitors, lights, hard drives, printers, iPhones, software, consumables (bulk mini-DV tape), various other electronic gadgets and goodies, and of course still and video cameras - plus they have great deals on used gear.

Plenty of technology info and tutorials too, on their website and in their catalog.

In my mind they are the best place west of Akihabara, for most if not all of your electronics needs...

B&H is an hell of a shop for electronics. The customer service is excellent but the prices are kinda expensive. But considering the choice they have you won`t go to other place to shop
