QUICK TIP NEEDED! Webcam's ....Flash and Mac's
Hey it's no secret no matter how hard I try I'm just not the most technical person around.
My tech guy stepped out for the night and I need to do some webcaming tonight and well I have a small problem. When I plug my external Logitech Webcam in it never engages. And when I right click the window to get the flash settings it shows up in the drop down menu I choose it and it never turns on. This in turns screws up my built in ISIGHT. http://onhercam.com/hosting-nomark/i..._gfycamera.jpg I used Chat Roulette as an example to show you what I mean. When I use PhotoBooth a default webcam program my internal I sight loads up fine and works great but never on flash based systems. What am I doing wrong? Can you please help a guy out...

We are running into the same problem here with our chat rooms. The explanation I heard is that the new version of the Flash plug-in basically freezes the cam on a mac. The only solution I heard is to install the Flash 9 plug-in and it seems to work.
