I cannot comprehend that. Your last sale was three days ago, and that is crazy because your other sites are converting fine? Is that what you mean?

I am CCBill affiliate 15053. Since 1999 there have lots of ups and downs. In all honesty - and this is really fucking crazy - if I make one more sale today it will match my CCBill sales for all of last week. Last week was bad. Really bad. Today is great, though.

CCBill is a bit of a roller coaster BUT they always pay and - over time - the sales and ratios balance out. I don't judge by week to week data. CCBill always balances out for me - although I may have a bad week or two each year, my ratios have been consistant for about a decade.

I wish I could say that about anyone else...

Here is my CCBill stats for this year so far, with "Include Affiliates Without Sales" checked:

Under the "Raw Clicks" column, I'm at 1:431.4
Under the "Unique Clicks" column, I'm at 1:135.4

4 refunds, 1 chargeback for a total of -$59.90.

690 sales this year so far, most of which came from three sites. Rebills not included.

Same deal with 2009:

"Raw Clicks" ratio: 1:505.0
"Unique Clicks" ratio: 1:35.1
Sales: 843
8 refunds, 4 chargebacks for a total of -$84.92

Again for 2008:

"Raw Clicks" ratio: 1:468.0
"Unique Clicks" ratio: 1.06
Sales: 1,237
12 refunds, 2 chargebacks. -$200 or so.

This looks like my income has declined, but because a lot of CCBill sites don't update their affiliate tools or reply to emails, I stopped promoting them.

Also, the "Unique Clicks" has only become relevant over the last year or so.

Anyway, for me, CCBill - and the main programs I promote through them - has been remarkably consistant.

Garce, thank you for your precise answer. CCbill is also my choice and most of my traffic ,I am sending there since they are reliable. When I say reliable, I can almost predict approximately sum made at the end of the month and with several years experience (not so much as you have), if I see that with my traffic there is no sale for three or four days with them,I know that something is happening. Once again, thank you for answer and it seems that I am lonely with this issue so I will step off and wait.

There is a delay on the sales coming through to affiliates. Over 24 hours ago a webmaster congratulated me on some sales I had just made for him, but they haven't appeared in my stats yet. When they do appear I normally get 3 or so at the same time (including rebills), so it appears that there's a delay until they come through, perhaps they are waiting for some kind of authentication test. As long as they come through within a few days I'm happy

theres always delays in ccbills reports, very hard to keep track of live sales due to delays, always best to wait a few days then look back to be accurate.

Very reassuring to hear that as I would hate to think I was missing sales

No you're not, I think things have been a bit slow. I don't like to jump in on these kinds of threads because they tend to be self-realizing. I was expecting a bit of a pickup this time of year, but traffic and sales are a bit down (though traffic was down the exact time last year, too). For CCBill I have a paysite and always get emails on sales and declines. A bit more declines lately, for both scrubs and bank denials, and failed rebills are higher than I'd like.

I have six (almost seven) years of historical data for the paysite, and this is the longest stretch of slowdown I've seen...over a week now. Usually it's just a day or three. As a site owner sales stats are immediate, so that's not the problem on that end.

I have affiliate sales through a few sites like VOD and those are down as well. On Hotmovies I'm only making half as much by mid-month as I did last month, and last month was average. Every day I make sales, but this last week I had two days with no sales. Very unusual.

No. They play with the scrub. Not necessarily them it could be their acquiring bank.

One day every transaction sales through like its covered in margarine, next day nobody's credit card is good enough.

I've been seeing the same thing but today CCbill seems to be "back".

All processors do it, but CCBill seems a little more extreme than others. Just get another processor and do a cascade, problem solved.

In your other thread earlier this month I think I mentioned being 1:5000+. Thankfully It has since turned around and I'm back to about 1:1800 which is near normal (1:1600).

Here's a feature that would probably help X% more sales get properly credited to affitiates. CCBill had intended to roll it out in the new WMS but unfortunately there were problems. I'd love to see this finally implemented because if done right I could see it improving affiliate conversions by as much as 33%.

http://www.ccbill.com/cs/kb/idx.php/...e-Linking.html

Quote:
Consumer-Affiliate Linking is a method of making sure that your affiliates are paid for future sales based on a prior referral.

CCBill uses the consumer email address, payment information, or a combination of the two to determine if a customer signing up has purchased before, and if so checks to see if those transactions were linked to an affiliate. If so it ensures that the affiliate is paid for referring the new transaction as well.

You've got to pick the right program. I have 100s of CCbill pograms rasnging from The Wetlands in 01 Oct 1999, to Jay Rock Cash on 12 Nov 2010.

Some work, some don't.

Since 2003 there has been only one time I know of where somebody (me) made a CCBILL thread and the next thing you know, CCBILL had left something unchecked or some shit debugging the system so we all had a cha'ching, cha'ching, cha'ching, cha'ching, cha'ching, cha'ching, cha'ching, cha'ching, cha'ching, cha'ching, cha'ching, cha'ching, cha'ching, cha'ching, cha'ching, cha'ching, cha'ching, cha'ching, cha'ching, cha'ching, cha'ching, cha'ching, cha'ching, cha'ching, cha'ching, cha'ching, cha'ching, cha'ching, cha'ching, cha'ching, cha'ching, moment.

How many threads does it take to hold your favorite billing company to task for their perfunctory conversion ratios?

Here's a small list of the over simplified reasons why we keep going round and round about this very phenomenon...

1. Well Paid Public Relations specialists, come in and hypnotize you, the observant webmasters, by saying..."these aren't the droids you are looking for"

translation - "We are unaware of any problems at this time, send me your account details and we will investigate"

2.The Power of Suggestion... how many times have you seen a webmaster come in and say "this is the best day in sales ever" or "stop bashing billing company your tour and content sucks...hehe"

translation - divide and conquer tactic, one of the oldest in the book. Keep the webmasters bashing each other, and distract them from the subject of the thread.

3.The foolish webmasters are beginning to talk about lack of sales...we better hit the sales on switch now....

Translation - Throw the "sales on" switch at the right moment, and the fools will think they were just in a dry spell, see it was just a few slow days, sales picked up suddenly today so everything must be fine...just my own paranoia about slow sales..nothing to see here move along

4.Plausible Deniability - don't blame processor its the tubes, its the economy, its the FHG's, its your traffic, the dog ate my homework, your niche is saturated, blah, blah, blah

translation - there are many factors that "could" account for slow to no sales and as long as those factors are out there we can pass the blame for slow sales on eveything else for as long as we wish! Besides the webmasters are too lazy, ego and money obsessed to think critically, and analytically about their stats, and connect the dots.

conclusion - There is an old axiom that says "let he/she that is deceived, be deceived"

When other entities are present to collect your funds at a point of sale transaction, you will never be able to say with 100% certainty that you are being credited with what you rightfully are owed!

The best you can do is have "faith & trust" in the ones who you pay 15-20% to collect your money for you!

You have no independent way of verifying what your surfers do when they leave your tour to go to another server to submit their transaction!

All you have to rely upon is your admin stats, and the "word" of account reps PR specialist!

Those with foresight and intuition no how questionable admin stats and PR personnel can be!

remember in a world where image is everything, it is better for a corporation to protect the image of the company above and beyond the concerns of individual company clients.

Interesting way of looking at things SwirlsGirl

Strange thing is, I've just had a fresh sale appear which is definitely from today as I only put the gallery it came from live today, but the ones from Saturday are still in the system somewhere. Hopefully they will appear soon

Then the surfers must be on on the laugh. Have you ever had a surfer write to you and say they tried to sign up but were led somewhere else? You'd think if surfers can't sign up other than for legitimate payment reasons (insufficient funds, bad card, stolen card, whatever) they'd complain to your customer service e-mail.

If we're losing so many sales to tricks on CCBill's part then has has to be at least ONE customer who would have spilled the beans by now. Don't you think?

You can get a merchant account with netbilling.com What I have noticed is that sometimes the BANKS just decline everything online not just adult sites. Maybe there is a limit to the amount of funds that can be processed in one day, who knows but the best thing to do is to not put all your eggs in one basket.

CCBill sales seem to be back up in November. The last two months were not great, but at least you know you will get paid when you promote a CCBill site - a huge consideration in today's business climate.

They can perform tests but would need to use a live card to have the transaction show up in your admin reports. Contact me directly and I will use my personal card.

Nothing peculiar about some one of your magnitude dropping in and giving the stamp of approval...LOL

Amazing what a little well timed and well placed PR can do!

You guys can line up 8000 co signers and it will not change the phenomenon...

I do also understand that you have no shortage of cosigners at your disposal, what there is a shortage of is webmasters with common sense who can recognize truth and sincerity when it is presented to them.

All I am saying is start paying closer attention to your stats, and understand the objectives, motivation, and tactics of Public Relation specialists

our sales were slow last tuesday and wednesday, then a little higher on thursday and were actually really good all weekend long. Today has been a pretty good day.

I think the problem was all this news about the dollar and the govt. trying to lower it, which could cause another world crisis. No more mention of that in the news this week, so things are good again.

Just out of interest Femdom conversions fell through the floor for us quite a while back and as soon as we moved into other areas the sales came flooding back.

I am just looking at stats. In this moment, ccbill conversion for me (this month ) is 1:1836 . During 2010 my average conversion is below 1:1000 . Other programs are converting as usually. Traffic is completely the same, and I nothing is changed but still, this is happening.
