Conan gets an A- from me.

i thought his show last nite was hilarious. the guest part was so so, but that's my least favorite part of the late nite shows anyway.

well done! and he rocked it out with jack white at the end.

he had a killer opening scene that started off when he left nbc last year and brought him up to date, the set is very schnazzy, his monologue was typical conan: tongue-in-cheek self-deprecating humor. and andy was on FIRE! the guests were ok, seth rogan- kinda yawn, some hot chick from glee.

I watched it but was a little disappointed. His monologue had fewer jokes and seemed to drag on. Andy Richter talked too much (and Conan laughed at every non-funny joke while the audience offered polite chuckles. Richter needs to stfu).

Conan seemed a little nervous and worried and seemed to be lacking in confidence. Of course it can be expected.

I'm sure his show will do well eventually but he's probably got a long road ahead of him now.

Personally, I never miss The Daily Show and The Colbert Report. All other shows in that time slot are secondary, but I'll flip between David Letterman and Jimmy Kimmel (Very funny in my opinion). I almost never watch Leno anymore.

I liked it for a premiere episode. I can see it only getting better. I thought Andy had some good quick jokes thrown in there.

it's a competitive timeslot, letterman is far down the list for me at 11pm. way far. and i've gotten pretty tired of the daily show. i can only take so much of it.

I dont have cable and am kinda bummed that i can watch it live. Seth Rogan and a chick from glee? couldn't get any better guests on the premiere episode?

I thought it was great. Got a nice rating compared to others. But then it WAS a premiere episode.

I'm glad they kept a standard talk show set, I'm glad they kept the intro and outro music familiar.

I predict NBC replaces Leno within 12 months from today. Probably more like 6.

The set was very retro, more like Late Night than his Tonight Show. It's like they went back to the basics, what he was comfortable with for so many years.

I thought the premier was OK, looking forward to him building some momentum, getting more comfy with basic cable.

The Daily Show used to be funny when they weren't 100% bitching about the big news networks. Now that is ALL they do. Gets old quick.

Up here in Canada Conan is not on until after The Daily Show and Colbert anyway, but by that time it is midnight and I can't stay awake. Hopefully they will have repeats during the day.

hah, he made a joke along those lines last nite. he said he left nbc because he refused to go on at 12, but just the day before his new show started we switched to daylight savings time, in effect, putting his show on at 12, lolz. too funny.
