The last minute or 30 seconds was the only thing I thought he was being an asshole about, if I had to pick something. The part where he mentions he wouldn't be at the rally because he'd be spending time with the "folks", to which he tells Jon Stewart that it means the normal people, the average americans, the ones with "jobs."

Well if that's the case, who were the people that showed up to his rally? It's a bit of an insult against them too.
