Its a identity service they run to keep the lamers out.

See ya on the 9th, its the only PC title to care about in 2010. If it fails, the pc industry is doomed.

But... they did make COD1 and that game was just revolutionary....

Sounds promising... I stopped playing video games heavily (probably a good thing?) due to cheating and I don't really care about mods...

Then again - people were able to cheat relatively easily on IWNet so I'd be surprised if they were really able to cut cheating out completely.

Some of the cutscenes did drag I must admit. They have added a ton of new stuff to this one. like riding the horses through town, new weapons etc.

Won't be out until 2011, but I guess I would have to go with Guild Wars 2. Been playing quite a bit of Civ 5 recently.

I havn't played a solid MMO since many many years ago in Ultima Online, the greatest MMO to ever exist. I am starting to have an itch to play one. Any good ones out there? PvP is really the only thing that interest me. Preferably a game with open world pvp and full loot? Also where gear doesn't determine the fight 90% of the time would be nice.

If you enjoyed Fallout 3, you'll have a lot of fun with it. There's not a lot of difference, same engine, same style. It feels like a giant expansion pack for Fallout 3.

As is typical for Obsidian game releases, it's not well polished, so there are still a helluvalota bugs in it. I've come across 8-10 glitches and 2 full crashes in under 15 hours of play. Hope they get some patches out soon.
