Happy 9th Birthday!

Congratulations Shap - on 9 years of growth and success with Twistys.

I'm very proud to have been a part of the Twistys family and Twistys success since 2005. It was a wonderful experience for me and an amazing opportunity to grow as a producer. With the love and support from the Twistys family over the years, I have far exceeded what I had envisioned for myself as a shooter.

Here's to many more years of success and growth as one of the premier brands in the adult industry! :drinkup

Not at all. Retention was really good but our original tour was shit. I think we did 1 to 12 signups a day for the first 10 months. We then launched TwistysCash in June 2002 sales were still slow. We were stuck at 20 to 30 sales for 5 months and then everything just exploded. I wish I had a log of what caused the jump. I'd have to research it I don't remember off hand.

Homegrown Video in praise of Twistys

When so many companies fail in the first year or two, going 9 is huge and deserves big praise, congrats!

I have always considered customer service to be one of the "X" factors that makes a successful site. Too many webmasters don't really give a crap about the customers and then wonder why retention sucks, sales suck, etc. (then spend all their time trying to blame it on something like tubes etc.)

I bet plenty of times either publicly or privately, folks look at what you are doing and think or say "what is so special about that?" Or "how is that different from xyz site?" They can stare right at it and never figure it out. You can explain it until you are blue in the face and they still won't get it.

Keep up the great work and kudos to all those who have worked with you to make it happen.

Thanks Far-L. I think you are dead on. A few years ago there were a number of companies that tried to replicate what we were doing. In most cases they did something better than us (better photos, better videos, better layout etc). But they failed to put together the entire package and as a result they failed. When you care about your members it goes beyond just customer service. It may not be something members realize they are getting but it definitely pays off.

Shap has always been one too excel ... kudos
