No, it's not. Such transactions take place by the millions every day on the trading floors, in the boardrooms and sometimes even in the smoke-filled back rooms of financial and business institutions in New York, London, Hong Kong, Tokyo and virtually every other city in the world every day.

Want to know why it's legal? Do what I did. Go hire a lawyer to fnd out why. Hire a good lawyer though because an inept lawyer will steer you the wrong way.

In the meantime, unless and until you become more educated on the matter, I suggest that you GFY.

Just sayin'.

so if the guy got the money via illegal means, its still not money laundering? this goes for all the money exchangers. you could be exchaging the proceeds of phishing, illegal pill sales, hijacked accounts, who knows. i wouldn't do it personally..

Oh, you mean like banks handling funds for companies like Exxon, NetFlix, BP. General Motors and Pfizer, all of which have engaged in some or all of the actions you mentioined?

OK, don't you do it then!

Oh, come on, now! If you read this forum at all, you are familiar with the ePass problems faced by our offshore associates and you also know damned well that these people have been paid for marketing adult products and services. I didn't hear you wildly screaming "Adult networks could be fundng terrorism!" when things were all hunky-dory for them, now, did I?

I must write that I am very much amused and at the same time, very much appalled at the very real lack of business acumen being displayed in this thread. No wonder so many affiliates are going broke.......they don't know how to do business! They don't even know what business is, I suspect! I further suspect that there may also be an unhealthy dose of Sour Grapes going around here because they don't know how to handle a matter like this and therefore want to put anyone who does out of business by fearmongering, name-calling and Ad Hominem attacks. Not that they wouldn't do it themselves if they knew how, of course! Pretty pathetic in my book

Just sayin'.

Sally, have I got a deal for you

I have a pretty easy way to put the doubts away for you.

I am pretty much local to you. I will meet you anywhere you want between Columbia, MO and let's say Manhattan (KS, not NY) and verify your identity for the members of the board.

How about it? You want to be able to do business with this community but you are still an unknown entity, a face to face meeting would go a long way towards establishing your creds.

It will not satisfy everyone, there will always be doubters, but it would shut up a lot of them.

So, if you are who you say you are and if you are what you say you are then there should be no fear. Of course, if you are hiding something.....

just sayin...

Thank you for your kind offer but I cannot accept it for several reasons. The transactions "in motion" will speak for themselves and I'm reasonably certain that those happy with those transactions will comment positively on this board. I am also fairly certain that some of the transactions will fail due to the inability of some account holders to properly verify but that will not be up to me. I'm not the one who registered fake info with ePass and now doesn't have ID to match the fake info. ePassporte will make those decisons. It is not necessarily a good or safe thing to actually meet with people with whom you only have an internet acquaintance. You might be someone like Ted Bundy for all I know!

And who the fuck would want to go to Manhattan-Goddamned Kansas? Nothing there but Cow School and Aggieville and Aggieville has gone to shit???!!!!! Friends don't let friends go to Manhattan. It's just not done.

And I'm too busy handling business to go galavanting all over God's creation for a meeting with you. Another time perhaps.

Just sayin'.

A meeting in a public place, surrounded by people, with a member who is known to people in the industry is hardly dangerous or risky. They go on all the time. I have met webmasters in Miami, Atlanta, Indianapolis and Las Vegas and never has there been any incidents that would raise any alarms.

I didn't say to meet in Manhattan, I said anywhere between Columbia and Mahnattan. KCMO works, Lawrence works, Leavenworth, wherever. I am willing to do the miles to help you out here.

It would serve to give you immediate creds. If I say that you are the real deal there are several trusted people in this biz that will back me up. In turn they have folks that will back them up. That is the way this biz operates.

I am not asking you to galavant anywhere, I will cone to you any day, anytime you choose.

There is nothing for you to lose here and perhaps a whole lot of biz to gain.

Your choice

the last post was a joke but really, with all this epass mess now is the best time for hackers/scammers to pull money (sometimes not their own) out of epass through other third parties. not to mention, if you are doing 50k transfers for people (i doubt you are but someone on here was advertising as such) the IRS are going to have a hey-day with you.

Sare is well liked and trusted by a lot of people in the business. I count myself as one of them. This is a solid offer by a great guy. Pass it up and it really does reflect negatively on you

Thanx for the vote of confidence spaz ;p

Sally, btw, in case you didn't notice, what I am offering is a "networking" opportunity. I am sure that you are aware that networking is an important part of almost any business nowadays.

No kidding, and considering many people had been using Epass for...*drumroll*...TAX evasion, then what she's doing is definitely 100% money laundering! And millions of people speed every day but cops still catch a few and give them tickets..."but millions of other people speed too!" has never been a valid defense. But I'm sure Sally's lawyer told her that.

Legally there would be no problem doing transactions like this if you have the invoices, receipts and paperwork to back it up.
You have got to be damn sure that you have ALL of that though before providing this service in any volume.

However you should verify every client with Docs pretty much just as any bank would do....you could be in a world of shit if you don’t.

The reason is simple, you have to be able to prove beyond any doubt that you have done this in good faith and that you have verified all clients to eliminate Money laundering or criminal acts.

This makes perfect sense. But I believe she says she verifies docs somewhere.

exactly. I say you need to fire who ever your listen too.

IRS: Can you explain this 50k you took in and then wired Mr. X 45k?
Sally: Well you see epass went under and i was helping this guy move his money.
IRS: Where did this 50k come from and who is this person you are doing the transaction with?
Sally: Oh its some guy from GFY that I have no clue who he is or where the money came from. Whats the big deal? Just sayin?
IRS: Well the issue is MR.X was using his account to fund online gambleing which is against US laws
Sally: Well i didnt know where the money was coming from to be honest it was a honest mistake! Just sayin!
IRS: Ignorance of the law is no excuse...Just sayin

I mean seriously who keeps 50k 100k in a online virtual visa....I can assure you no one up to any good or their simply hiding money from the tax guy. Also note that any time that you recieve a wire of 10k or more in the US the bank automatically will report that to the IRS. So keep on doing what your doing and see how far you make it ;)

It may be true for US citizens, but for many people outside of US epass was actually safer than their local banks. Do you have any idea how many banks went bankrupts during 2008-2009? And those money were usually not insured, unlike US accounts.

I kept too large amount in epass only because I almost lost money in 2 different legitimate banks at the end of 2008. Was pure luck I did not actually lose anything there. May now be loosing at Epass. We'll see how far my luck goes.

"Martin Luther King, Jr. was born on January 15, 1929 at his family home in Atlanta, Georgia. King's grandfather was a Baptist preacher, and his father was pastor of Atlanta's Ebenezer Baptist Church. King earned his own Bachelor of Divinity degree from Crozier Theological Seminary in 1951 and earned his Doctor of Philosophy from Boston University in 1955. As a Baptist Minister, he was an eloquent civil rights movement leader from the mid-1950's until his death by assassination on April 3, 1968 in Memphis, Tennessee where he was there to support striking sanitation workers. King registered as a Republican in 1956."

Sally

If I transfer $20,000 to you from my epassporte account, will you transfer me $16,000 anywhere I want even to say 3 different banks in different countries to accounts of associates of mine I would like to pay money to?

What would you need from me to effect these transactions? My proof of ID? Their proof of ID? Will you forward me your proof of ID? Or do we just trust each other?

As much as I liked your postings on the chargeback thread, I must write that your post in this thread seems to me to be both disingenuous and more than a bit of a Red Herring, in that I have never sugggested, implied or stated that I would be willing to act as a payment processor or money transfer service in the manner which you describe. Those respects render your questions irrelevant and moot.

Just FIRMLY sayin'.

Sally.

You know full well that was a hypothetical question as not only have I suggested people consider carefully the legality of these schemes on many similar threads, but also, if I was really interested in the service I would be contacting you direct to keep my shady dealings private.

The point of my question was to give you the chance to explain WHY those of us who believe you are on shaky ground are wrong and that the service you offer is as you say "legal".

I added the multiple different recipients part because I assumed "unlimited bank wires" meant to more than one recipient as it would be a bit silly to break one wire to one person into many.

Stating your documentation requirements and procedure here for the record could help you gain credibility, and reassure the dubious.

Want to know why it's legal? Do what I did. Go hire a lawyer to fnd out why. Hire a good lawyer though because an inept lawyer will steer you the wrong way.

In the meantime, unless and until you become more educated on the matter, I suggest that you GFY.

You should not try to tell me what I know unless we are sharing Cheerios, which we are most certainly not.

Why don't you post the kinds of questions you are asking me on ALL of the following threads? Admittedly, you have on a few but far and away not all:

https://gfy.com/showthread.php?t=988969

https://gfy.com/showthread.php?t=986514

https://gfy.com/showthread.php?t=989006

https://gfy.com/showthread.php?t=989514

https://gfy.com/showthread.php?t=989284

https://gfy.com/showthread.php?t=989354

https://gfy.com/showthread.php?t=989161

https://gfy.com/showthread.php?t=988978

https://gfy.com/showthread.php?t=988932

https://gfy.com/showthread.php?t=987485

https://gfy.com/showthread.php?t=988923

https://gfy.com/showthread.php?t=988860

And.................there are more!

You should remember that old adage about "assume"............

You wrote:

"......I suggested people consider carefully the legality of these schemes on many similar threads, but also, if I was really interested in the service I would be contacting you direct to keep my shady dealings private."

Sally replies: "Would you now?"

You wrote:

"....if I was really interested in the service ....."

Sally replies: "That one speaks for itself."

My work speaks for itself.

I also suggest that we are being more than just a bit selective here, aren't we?

Just fuckin' sayin'.

Sally.
