It's widely speculated that they spliced in CGI footage of airplanes hitting the towers to 1) cover up any uncontrolled secondary explosions from the pre-planted demolitions 2) cover up the fact that missiles actually hit the buildings. Planes, even ones as large as passenger jets, could NOT have brought down the towers.

Conspiracy theorists seek patterns or explanations of agency where there are not likely to be any.

More than a few phenomena have this trait in common. :pimp

Yup, then again it's the truly ignorant who would compare religion to conspiracy theorists when they can't provide a logical argument.:1orglaugh

Sure it is, kid.

What about the ignoramus that see codes in the Torah? :1orglaugh:1orglaugh

You stink of the same thing you criticize but you are too blind to see it.

The Demon 09-25-2010 04:05 PM

Sure thing wig, keep rationalizing in the absence of a logical argument. :):) Better yet, make the religious seem sane by casting your lot with humanity:)

wig 09-25-2010 04:43 PM

Whatever, Stevie Wonder.

You don’t believe any other religion to be true but your own, so you already think these other believers have false beliefs and are incorrectly assigning agency to certain events.

And I said phenomena, so apply it equally to conspiracy theorists, Torah code breakers, UFOlogists, or belief in things like animism, polytheism, monotheism, demons, ghosts, the evil eye, aliens, fairies, etc.

The irony of you calling conspiracy theorists idiots, morons, insecure, insane, unintelligent and illogical is comical.

Project much?

The Demon 09-25-2010 05:19 PM

Still embarrassing with your endless string of strawman arguments? I can't how many times I've kicked your ass. Also, the only thing comical is your improper usage of the word "project".

Correct, and if you or wig could show me where I do that, I would deem you correct, other than watching wig embarrass himself.

Hey Demon, this isn`t an attack of any sort. I`m just curious what your opinion is on the view point that those in the intelligence community may have had forewarning and let things slide in order to provoke the US population into a full scale attack in the middle east.

The idea that the entire 9/11 attack was orchestrated by Americans, that it was a controlled demolition, shot down by missiles, and whatever else is obviously out of whack. But what`s your stance on that particular argument?

DaddyHalbucks 09-25-2010 06:30 PM

MockMood's behavior at the UN is proof positive that he is a nutcase of the most extreme variety.

:1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh Like that Iran-Contra affair...

Bunch of fucking liberals anti-american terrorist sympathisers lunatics tree hugging hippies ....

Quote:

The Iran?Contra affair[1] (Persian: ماجرای مکhaفارلین, Spanish: caso Irán-contras) was a political scandal in the United States that came to light in November 1986. During the Reagan administration, President Ronald Reagan and other senior U.S. officials secretly facilitated the sale of arms to Iran, the subject of an arms embargo.[2] At least some U.S. officials also hoped that the arms sales would secure the release of hostages and allow U.S. intelligence agencies to fund the Nicaraguan contras.

The affair began as an operation to improve U.S.-Iranian relations. It was planned that Israel would ship weapons to a relatively moderate, politically influential group of Iranians, and then the U.S. would resupply Israel and receive the Israeli payment. The Iranian recipients promised to do everything in their power to achieve the release of six U.S. hostages, who were being held by the Lebanese Shia Islamist group Hezbollah, who in turn were unknowingly connected to the Army of the Guardians of the Islamic Revolution. The plan deteriorated into an arms-for-hostages scheme, in which members of the executive branch sold weapons to Iran in exchange for the release of the American hostages.[3][4] Large modifications to the plan were devised by Lieutenant Colonel Oliver North of the National Security Council in late 1985, in which a portion of the proceeds from the weapon sales was diverted to fund anti-Sandinista and anti-communist rebels, or Contras, in Nicaragua.[5][6]

I think it is a valid argument and it is entirely possible but I don't for one second believe that's the case here.

Demon is too stupid to understand. He is the classic case of hate on what you dislike the most about yourself.

But hey... He's a self proclaimed ass kicker, logician and religious guru all rolled into one. :1orglaugh

Making you my bitch is too simple. Making you look stupid is too simple. I realize you're too much of a moron to follow an intelligent debate, so let me dumb it down for you. Here is the difference between religious people and conspiracy theorists. I'll try to use small words so even a moron like yourself can somewhat follow.

Religious people- Base their beliefs on faith and for the most part, try not to impose their will on others. If they do, they're nuts.

Conspiracy theorists- Base their beliefs on what they attempt to claim as "physical evidence", and call anyone who doesn't agree with them "sheeple".

There, I just explained to you the fundamental difference between the two, which pretty much shits your "comparison" out of the water. Try again, champ!:thumbsup

What a wonderful retort! Well, you've proven that you're unable to reason and that your last resort is a bunch of strawman arguments. Truly hilarious, thanks for the late afternoon entertainment.:1orglaugh
