Headway or Thesis, which Wordpress theme is better? - GoFuckYourself.com

I was going to purchase a copy of Thesis but Fris made me aware of Headway and now I'm not sure which one I like better. Anyone on here have experience with both themes and have a preference?

I get the "framework" part that you just build onto it and you can make it look however you want but what're you gaining beyond buying a custom theme for vanilla wordpress? I see everyone making a big deal about Thesis but didn't understand it.

I am reasonably good with php and customizing themes myself, are these big timesavers or geared towards entry-level users? I usually find a free theme with a layout I like and redo all the colors and graphics.

I love thesis. My tour was done using thesis & their support forums are really great with lots of tutorials so even inexperienced people can figure out how to build decent looking sites.

I've heard good things about headway also. But I just went with thesis based on the reviews that I read. It just keeps better also with every update

lol Headway makes MojoMotor look like a baby's toy...it was ridiculous to even compare them. Was Headway to advanced for you to figure it out or something?

and since Headway's last update, Headway has taken the lead over Thesis. Read any serious reviews, or take the time and try them out for yourself.

I myself make all my themes from scratch for myself and clients, with custom functions, and seo ready.

i have bought thesis, and headway both, they are great products, but its not something i use on a daily basis.
