When buildings loose their support in the center, the upper floors fall down - not in any other direction. When the upper floors fell down, it crumbled the floors below it. This is common knowledge.

The buildings were designed to have 100% of the support infrastructure in place. Not 75%. If you physically destroy 25% of the structure, you've damaged the remaining 75% - and it will not hold the rest of the building for long.

One of the designers "considered it", but no where does any paperwork say the building was designed to withstand the impact of a plane. Even the brief consideration mentioned above mentions a 707 flying at a low speed, not a much larger plane flying at much higher speed.

Who said anything about melting steel? If you heat up steel beams that are already damaged, they aren't at 100% strength. Take away a percentage of the infrastructure, heat up the remaining damaged beams, and clearly it's only a matter of time before the building comes down.

We already had this discussing about planes that vaporize, and we showed you a video of a plane hitting a wall and there being nothing left.

Also had a discussion about how there was "not a single bolt" found at the crash site of Flight 93 in PA, yet in a single search I pulled up dozens of photos.

The passport thing is "odd". I'll give that one to you. I am at a loss to explain how a passport manged to get through the plane the crash and land on the street without being destroyed. But I guess anything is possible.

- NORAD runs planes outwards looking for military bombers, not inward at civilian flights.
- What breakdown of the FAA? Once they figured out what happened they shut down all flights. A lot of confusion, but no breakdown. Not much the FAA could have one one these flights were up in the air.
- Non reaction by Bush? What is he supposed to do? Run around like his head cut off like a chicken in front of school kids? he did exactly what he needed to do at that moment.
- We already covered the melted steel. It didn't melt, but was warped.
- Missing planes? What missing planes? You mean the ones that vaprozied? We covered this also and showed you a video of it.
- There was an investigation. A huge one. It took years. They produced books about it.
- Buildings didn't fall for no reason. They fell because they were hit by airplanes. We covered this.
- The crime scene wasn't wiped out - it was removed to a secure location where they went through it piece by piece. They did this in NJ.
- The hijackers were clearly trained to be commandos. And it's not like it takes much skill to beat someone up or intimidate someone with a knife.
- The hijackers were horrible pilots. But you give me a short amount of time in a flight sim and I'm pretty confident I can find a tall building to hit.

A lot of things happened this day. It's like a car accident witnessed by ten difficult people all from different viewpoints - Out of the ten people who saw it, you'll come up with six different stories about what happened.

Your trying to tell me that our government planned this and made it happen. And I'm telling you it would have taken hundreds of people to make this happen, all of which would have left a huge trail of evidence. Instead you point out that there is no planes at the crash scene when everyone in the world saw it happen on live TV.

You said there was "no plane debris" from flight 93 in PA, and a quick search shows me pictures. Same thing with the Pentagon. Where do you get this information from because when a simple search pulls up pictures from the crash scene with proof your wrong, someone isn't doing their homework or is making stuff up.

Then at the end of the day you have to factor in motive. What fucking motive did anyone in the US have to want to go into Afghanistan? Some pipeline that would have been much easier to build without it being in a warzone? That's just stupid.

Most of the plane crashes happen at a low speed either during take off or landing, and usually they "belly flop". This limits the damage to the plane and is why people survive plane crashes.

Let me dumb this down for you. If throw a glass bottle at a wall the bottle breaks. If you send that same glass bottle into a concrete wall at 600 mph it's not going to break, but go through the wall. A plane that belly flops into a small building at 150 mph in a controlled fall means the plane breaks up into lots of pieces. A plane out of control crashing into a strongly built skyscraper at 600 mph or the world's largest building (the Pentagon) means the plane gets vaporized.

so what about the one that "crashed" in the PA field? no buildings involved, no steel.... doesn't terminal velocity ("belly flop") apply there too?

There's nothing about any buildings losing their support "in the center". Even if that did happen, somehow, buildings would still tend to tilt to one or the other side before falling.

If the top 25 floors started falling it isn't "common knowledge" that the bottom 75 would succumb - that's actually against basic physics.

There IS a demolition technique that cuts a building in half and the top, equally heavy, portion crushes the bottom half because they have equal mass and volume, but the top third or quarter would not do that.

That's wrong. The buildings were designed to have large portions of their support structure compromised, by jet planes notably, and throughout as well.

In physics, the bottom 75% should resist the top 25% even if it doesn't "support" it - in other words that top 25 should have toppled, not crushed.

Robertson's quote confuses me, though, because the original building design parameters specifically mention aircraft hits. On "paper".

The government originally said "anything about melting steel". And if your scenario (which is not the government's conspiracy theory) would be correct, the structure's whole frame would have to weaken perfectly equally symmetrically to fall down vertically the way they did...
