Is this fair? - stfucash.com

I was wondering what people thought about this. I have not bothered saying anything about it before, it happened months ago and its only a few bucks but its still bad business if you ask me.

I threw up 1 link for stfucash.com website handlemywife, this is the link:
http://join.handlemywife.com/track/MTIxMzoyNTo4/

I only posted this link on one link directory i have, it was pr2 or pr3 with not many out bound links, and some how i managed to get the top spots in google for handlemywife fuckmywife and lots of keywords like that, i got about 100 hits per day or so.

I only put this link up becuase i needed more links on the directory i was building at the time - i wasnt even trying to promote stfucash let alone spam it around or something.

I thought great i got lucky there, i made about 1-200$ per month from just 1 link, and this link was near the bottom of the page it wasnt even getting much traffic, easy money i thought.

But then all of a sudden my account was banned. In all fairness to stfucash it was nice the company paid me the last bit of money, and then banned me a day or two later.

Now the page redirects to a page saying spam, the one i posted above-
http://join.handlemywife.com/track/MTIxMzoyNTo4/

I think they just redirected my page so it would not be the top result in google anymore, and so they didnt have to pay for search engine traffic they could get for free.

Sent them an email or two and didnt get a reply, couldnt be bothered chasing it up anymore after that.

I would have promoted stfucash alot more if i wasnt banned, instead im here posting this thread.

What do you guys think?

thats kind of fucked IMO

I'm sure it was not your intentional plan to do that but in any means, they were not able to produce that traffic and sales and shouldn't have a reason to ban your account.

some sponsors these days are getting really shady and trying to find any reason they can not to pay or shut down your account

a ban for that is very wrong in my opinion and does not look very good for their whole group of affiliate programs. they should have adjusted the seo on their .com and overtaken your search listing.

Seems pretty shitty. If a program is worried about 200$ a month, it says a lot about the program. I could understand if you were doing adwords or something similar, and beating them with their own keywords (if its in there tos). Maybe somebody reported you for spamming or something. Thats the only reason I could really see for the banning. Im pretty sure there are some reps on this board that could shine some more light on this.

Yea thats the only way i could see this happening is if someone banned me for spamming - but i only had 1 link up on 1 page it didnt have much traffic at all, i dont know who would have done that.

Really doubt that is the reason for the banning, have been promoting that group (Triplexcash, meatcash, stfucash) for over 2 years with SEO tactics. Never been late on a payment, let alone miss one. Great group...

Just an idea, but if your domain is tomsbookmarks.com the sponsor may seen it as you was trying to rip tommysbookmarks which has been around for years. Like 13 or more years. It just depends if someone complained to the sponsor.

if you were bidding on terms or using typeo domains or other tld's they may have a case but straight up seo is honest affiliate work.

Just my 2 cents as someone who runs a lot of pay site directory/review type sites. Getting those joins from a link to one site in their network from a link that isn?t well placed on your page could mean you have a problem bookmarker. The typical profile is of one of these guys is that they keep joining the same site over and over again possibly with stolen cc numbers. They tend to seek out free trials because they don?t want the charge to show up on their billing statement. Even if they aren?t joining with stolen CCs they will never retain and if they accidently forget to cancel they will chargeback because the whole idea for them is they don?t want the charge to appear on the statement. So basically you?re dealing with a guy that doesn?t want his wife to find out, or a teenager using mommy and daddy?s cc number, or simply a carder using the link as a test bed for his collection of stolen credit card numbers. Since your sponsor is reading the thread ask them for the IP of the guy causing the problem and ban them from your site. (assuming this is the case)

Of course this simply may be a case of your account not being profitable, them not knowing you and not knowing where your traffic is coming from.

They told you they didnt want you as an affiliate any more

They paid you what they owed you

Perfectly fair.

They dont have to give you any reason. You can't make people do business with you if they dont want to, grow the fuck up

Oh and an affiliate is only of any use when they are bringing you extra sales, not taking sales from you, do some work, this isn't school you fucking idiot

Althought thinking about it a bit more kingfish i am not sure thats possible - i saw in my stats alot of his from google - went to google typed in the keywords and yes i was in spot #1 for alot of keywords, so i think these were real sales not just 1 person signing up again and again - although thats a very interesting theory ive never thought of that happening before.

How about you make up your mind and stop this " Shoot first ask questions later " attitude.
You contact him, and tell him your sorry, and you financial compensate him, and then, you go work on the program, cause it aint much anymore.

Put your hands where your mouth is, and deliver some quality, cause I aint got no rebiller anymore on your programs, how is that he?

A real good way to analyze it would to be to determine how many total joins you are getting from that page from all your sponsors. If all of your joins from that page are going to their site or a high percentage of them then I would tell you that you could be 99.9% sure you have an individual causing you problems. Normally your link 33 down the page will get a lot less joins than your first 5.

My link was probably protecting a link to a full length video on a 100% free tube site?

It was an affiliate link, linked from 1 page only - and the hits are not even coming from my site they are coming from google - i could see my affiliate link was number 1 in google for alot of related searches.

Dont get what you mean?

That WOULD be a good way to check if your theory is right kingfish, although you might have forgotten i mentioned all the sales were coming from google - no sales at all came from this page, not for this sponsor anyway.

My webcam sponsor at the top of the page made a few sales, had no problems there.

I have emailed nick and daniel about it, ill see what they say. Im not fussed about it anyway but it would be nice to get an answer.

Alright got an answer back.

My account was banned because they couldnt see referer info (Even tho I could, all the hits were from google as i mentioned above - And they could just go to google and search the keywords, and see my link there)

The email goes as such:

ME: Hi, you guys asked me to email you to see if we could work out why my
account was banned. Im not fussed about the money nor the account i
highly doubt i will be promoting you guys but it would be nice to find
out why.

I also think my meatcash account is disabled i cant seem to login,
would you check on that too-

I dont seem to have my stfucash password anymore i must have deleted
it from my list of sponsors - Can you check my account via my real
name?

REPLY: Hi your account has been unbanned in stfucash
your link codes are working again
username : jimsum
regards

ME: lol thats it?

How about an answer as to why my account was banned? I had the top
spots in google, now im not going to have them am i.

REPLY: you got banned by our fraud team because we weren't able to see the referral urls properly . we do daily fraud checks and your account looked suspicious ( very low upgrades as well ) . if you would have contacted us earlier we could've unbanned earlier
sorry about the inconvenience but you have to understand that fraud is a major problem in the industry these days.
regards

ME: But i could see all the refferers - Google was the only referer?
I understand the need for fraud protection - but i still think my
account was banned becuase i had the top spots in google - and by
banning me you could get them for free.

Why would i care about my account being unbanned - my search engine
spots are gone and i wont get them back.

REPLY: your ban has nothing to do with google / seo . Actually we lost the joins (through your code ) as well because since it got banned the traffic went to a spam page that is useless to us and doesn't generate joins. so we also missed out on traffic
we encourage our affiliates to do seo
regards

ME: Well when i do a search for handle my wife - your site is #1 in
google, without an affiliate code - so your getting my sales there.
Im sure you lost a few sales becuase i can see other keywords like
fuck my wife you are not number 1.
If you want to fix this your going to need to compensate me for lost sales.
Keep the money i dont care, but saying oh ok your unbanned now doesnt
really cut it for me, the sales are gone.
I emailed you guys a few times after it happened - and i didnt get a
reply as to what has happened.

REPLY: No reply

The next day i sent another email:

ME: Sorry, i didnt catch your reply there?

2 Minutes later:

REPLY: Hi
again sorry for the inconvenience
once again you didn't get banned for any seo. You got banned because the joins looked suspicions to our fraud deparment. In the moment we heard about it (through gfy ) we tried to contact you and you got unbanned.
regards

ME: Yea but all the sales are gone, and it would be impossible for me to
get the search engine traffic back, what does unbanning me do, of
course im not going to promote any of your programs.
Alright i will leave it then, thanks for your help.

Anyway just thought i would post that up.

Its all done and finished with, i will just leave it.

I might add to this thread, a long time later-

The same thing happened with twistys.com

I put up a link on this link list - and for a month when you typed in "Twistys" my link appeared.

I contacted twistys - they said they were happy i got the spot in google, and made the money i did.

So i would just like to thank twistys, for being fair about it, and not just banning my account like stfucash did.

I might also add - that as soon as i complained about stfucash - they deleted my account on meatcash.com - with all the money they owed me.

I wont be chasing it up they can keep the money.. just goes to show what a scammy company that is..

Considering that all they had to do was put the canonical link on the tour page,
banning you didn't make much sense.

Banning you just removes one of their back links to the canonical.

Follow up to above :

But if your link had 900 referring URL's from message boards and social sites
comments then, yeah, you got banned correctly.

Sorry blackmonsters, what are you talking about, i dont get it?

900 back links from reffering urls from message boards and social sites?

I put up 1 link - on 1 link list.

The link list is now pr4 and has 30 out going links, its a powerful link - hence why the same thing happened to twistys.

Anyhow this is old stuff, i just bumped this thread for fun.
