Vancouver: Is the local ski season kaput?

I should have got SEASONS PASS insurance when asked and then claimed i broke my leg.

Goddamn Global Warming has the nerve to fuck wit my new snowboard. Still on lawaway (the only insurance that i thought necessary)...do I cash in and say fuck it and stick with my old board?

I've never skied before, but I went up to cypress a week and 1/2 ago. I looked great, I told my wife we should take lessons and try it. Too bad the snow season looks a little weak this year.

There's still 3-4 months of winter left, and one or two big storms will put you guys back in business. When does ski season end up there? We're usually good 'till April or May in Cali. You can ski 'till July here if you're willing to drive up to tuolumne and hoof it up the peaks.

I see Shasta still has a 72" base at 5500ft even tho there hasn't been any new snow in a week. Thats a pretty good bellwether for california skiing.
