I was at Kroger today buying some grapes and Almond Rocca and used the last 20 bucks in my pocket. I went to the ATM in the store to withdraw some cash and figured what the hell lets try the epassorte card.

I put the card in and tried to withdraw $300.00 which is my max allowed to withdraw daily from the atm.

It took a while to process then I heard the the machine working and MONEY CAME OUT!
$300.00

I was shocked... I went to try the card to buy something small and it was rejected.
But it allowed me to withdraw cash today!

Im sooo excited!

Ill try again tomorrow to see if I can withdraw more. Ive reached my daily Max.

Try it people! Is it just me?

Oh shit. I just tried. I tried to withdraw 20 bucks and it let me! Cash came out!

Then I tried to do another 280.00 and it rejected! I tried 100.00 next and it rejected.. I tried one last time for 120.00 and it accepted!

Strange. 2 out of 4 times it works. I guess you have to keep trying.

I just called my wife.. She used her card. It rejected the 300.00 (my max per day too) and it rejected. I told her to try again for 100.00 and it also rejected. She was mad when I told her to try for a 3rd time this time I had her try for 160.00 and it worked!

Yes it was NOT at a bank atm. It was some kind of credit union place. Actually it was one of those little machines you see in the stores. Not a bank atm she told me..

Ok I just tried it at the Bar next door. They have one of those Mini ATMs.. It worked. I think you have to really go around and try it at different places. Some places it works. Others not. Its about trying as many places as you can.

I'd be careful using those atm's I got one of my cards hacked with one of those and was a pain in the ass to deal with when Bank decided to cancel my card for fraud protection.

Those little ATM's don't work with epass cards. They are NOT on the PLUS network.

visa electron needs a working link to the bank. if it were a regular visa card it "could" have worked as some atm's will let you cash out a smaller amount when the link to the bank is broken. but with electron it will Never be possible.

When you take out the money from an ATM in Canada it comes out in Canadian, then gets converted from the US balance in your epassporte account.
