Me and my misses have been together for 25 years and we never got married, Well a couple of nights ago I just mentioned about us never getting married becuase we were watching a film and it had a weding in it, and now she really wants to get married. All I have heard for the last few days is about ...getting married ..should I do it or not ?

We did try it once before a very long time ago when I was in my early 20s and at the time I saved up 650 GBP which was supposed to be for the wedding but I wanted a motorcycle and ended up using the money for it Dont think she ever forgave me for it either cause she always brings it up every so often

If you've already mixed your finances, then there is no reason not to. If you haven't yet mixed your finances, there still really isn't any reason not to, but there is more to think about.

If you've been living like a married couple just go ahead and make it official.

I was certainly in love with her when we first met. I dont know if you have ever had a long term relationship but it happens to a lot of couples. You get so used to them being around. I also would not say that I was afraid of being on my own because we have split up before, and I lived on my own which I did enjoy, but I was a lot younger when it happened. Its her that wants to marry me Im not sure I want to get married
