My heart goes out to the independant webmasters who had huge chunks of their savings tied up in epass accounts. I really hope things shake out for the positive, but the lack of communication coming from Epass does nothing but leave room for suspicion and doubt to breed.

No one here has confirmed that wires were received. I find it hard to believe that any went out. How long does it take to get them "approved", 2 per day??? come on guys, you might not want to realize it but the money is frozen or worst its gone. This shit happens before a holiday weekend, you are told wait till tuesday and now its going on friday and you get is " we are getting a lot requests, it is taking time to send them out".
Either the money is stuck in the bank and epass has no access to it. Or epass did something with the money they shouldn't have or the bank did something with the money that they shouldn't have.
this is going to turn into any other ibill type deal we have all dealt with several times over the years. Where there is smoke there is fire. Its always good to see people get paid, but you got to love the "love" for the company moments after the money is paid.

I've worked with countless reps over the years, and I'll tell ya right now Michael is the ONLY one that has the issue resolved immediately every single fucking time when it's within his power and this one is obviously not.
He will answer questions he is allowed to, and when he is told to and that's the end of it.

maybe they did go for lunch one day and came back to shut down VISA services, I know fucked up stuff like this happens and it's quite possible they didn't know.
I'll tell you, I have no idea how I'd handle a fiasco like this and I think Michael is doing the best job he can just as he always has.

and no, I don't think it was entirely caused by them.
We have people that have admitted to having 4 or 5 different cards, and different accounts.
There is, as far as I know no way to do this without falsifying some documents, and possibly committing fraud, once again the adult webmasters greed has possibly fucked up a good thing
Perhaps the bank noticed some falsified documents and slammed shit shut to do an investigation, at this point we don't know.
if I worked for epass, I wouldn't tell you guys either until it was final and sorted out. There already way too people dissecting each and every word and turning this into a complete nightmare.Comment

Even if they came back from lunch and it was a complete surprise, it still means they fucked up somewhere. Visa doesnt just shut you down for shits and giggles. And it's not the first time the owner has run into problems with a company he has run.
I dont have an issue with Michael's customer service. He's trying to clean up a shit storm with apparently no help from upper management. I definitely think it should have been handled better (more updates, more details, less lying) but who knows if Michael had all the answers or was fed bullshit like the rest of us. Apparently he has a great reputation from those that have worked with him so I'm assuming it's the latter.Comment

People are dissecting every word because ePassporte hasnt given them any real news. Everything is vague or complete bullshit. Come out with a well written official statement and there would be less to dissect. It's not the users of ePassporte turning this into a nightmare, its ePassporte themselves.
And if they legitimately didnt do anything and it was user fraud dont you think they would be putting a little more effort into some positive PR? You could have your lawyers draft up an official statement explaining a portion of whats going on, how its not epassporte's fault and how they are going about correcting it. Being vauge and not offering any details is what a lawyer would advise you to do if you caused the fuck up and they dont want you admitting it.Comment
