Who wants to Play Fantasy Football?

We just got a last minute opening. League is made up with people in the industry and has been going for 4 years. So if you want to beat NatNet, Eric, or play with Zuzana (among others here) hit me asap. Draft is Tuesday morning 11am eastern time.

league fees are $420, with your add / drops you will likely pay about $500 for the year. All money goes back to winners.

Let me know if you are interested. Its a keeper league, looking for someone that will want to do this more than one time.

Keeper league? Is this year 1 of it? Or will teams already be drafting with keepers?
which system is it?
snake draft or auction?

It costs money to add and drop?
explain. Thanks!

Keeper league, this is year 4. We keep 2 players each year, the rest are drafted. Traditional draft just like the NFL.
12 teams in the league.
League entry fee is $420. FA Add/Drop, Trade/Move to IR is $5 a transaction.

The team that is no longer playing selects 6th in the draft and their best two players are Steven Jackson and Randy Moss. They also have (2) 2nd round picks, they had traded a player last year for a 2nd round pick this year.

Most of the original 12 people are in tack, but each year we lose 1 or 2 people for varies reasons. Since its a keeper league the new person has to assume the person's team who left. In this case it's a pretty good team considering the keepers and draft position/picks.

Everyone pays at the end of the season, directly to the winners, no money is held.

To keep it interesting every week for everyone, even people who know t hey wont make the playoffs, we do a high point winner each week. Who ever scores the most points that week wins $50. Its figured in at the end of the year with the league payouts.

Here is last year's payouts:
>> 1st Place: $2,096.00 40%
>> 2nd place: $1,572.00 30%
>> 3rd place: $1,048.00 20%
>> 4th place: $524.01 10%

We use cbs sports.

Honestly how long do you think the draft will last?
Under 2.5 hours? I would have exactly 2.5 hours to draft. And is this date set in stone? Id hate to join and then have the draft date change.

This is sounding really good.

I have the list of keepers now:

Turner / Romo
Ray Rice / Gore
Rodgers / Welker
Rivers / Jones-Drew
Brady / Wayne
Manning / DeAngelo Williams
Schaub / DeSean Jackson
A. Peterson, Flacco
Steven Jackson, Moss (would be your team)
Fitzgerald, Eli Manning
Drew Brees, Andre Johnson
Calvin Johnson / Chris Johnson

I don't think it will take that long at all. It goes pretty quick. We have 14 rounds but most picks happened in 30 seconds or less. Every now and then some one takes a couple minutes to catch up because it was moving too fast. If by some odd chance you had to leave before the last round it will auto pick for you, which at that point it would be a KR or not great player anyway.

If you want to play let me know 100% for sure. I can get you added and go over all of the rules, point system with you etc. You can contact me directly if you like.

I'll be back online in couple hours.

To inherit this other team sounds like something I cant pass up if he has two 2nd round picks. I dont really like Stephen Jackson but to have two picks really makes this a great team to inherit..

that is what we like to hear. I agree, it does help cure a gambling habit. I can now watch all the games each week now and have something to pull for without having to bet on them.

Fuck that. Keeper league that already has most of the good players on keepers so I wouldn't get shit? Then have to pay $500 to play wit a crappy team? Then you use cbs which charges $180 for custom leagues when NFL.com. Yahoo and ESPN have free custom leagues.

In the keeper league you would take over the team of the person that left the league. They don't always leave because they have a crappy team, people leave for various reasons. In this case the person has a decent team and good draft order/picks.

It was $150, which divided by 12 people only comes out to $12.50 a person. The have a really nice FF setup, it's worth it.

Spot it filled btw.

Exactly.. Its a good deal. 12.50 a person is great. Espn is not totally free. If you want the insider stuff it costs about the same thing per person. Ive never used cbs but so far it looks great.

As for taking over a team of a person that left, thats great! He already helped me by trading for a 2nd round pick! So I get two 2nd round picks. And my two keepers are Randy Moss and Steven Jackson. For a 12 person league having those guys (even though I hate steven jackson) is pretty dang good.

No disadvantage what so ever in me joining in new into this keeper league as a newbie. In fact I have it pretty damn good.

Im really studying the scoring settings. I know the settings are diff from the default. So im going to study it and know what im getting into so I wont be one of the bitches complaining about it down the road.

Im here to kick some ass And Ill see to it im well prepared and will help add to this league not create headache for it.

With that said I expect nothing less than winning this damn thing.

Thanks for the invite!
