Keeper league, this is year 4. We keep 2 players each year, the rest are drafted. Traditional draft just like the NFL.
12 teams in the league.
League entry fee is $420. FA Add/Drop, Trade/Move to IR is $5 a transaction.
The team that is no longer playing selects 6th in the draft and their best two players are Steven Jackson and Randy Moss. They also have (2) 2nd round picks, they had traded a player last year for a 2nd round pick this year.
Most of the original 12 people are in tack, but each year we lose 1 or 2 people for varies reasons. Since its a keeper league the new person has to assume the person's team who left. In this case it's a pretty good team considering the keepers and draft position/picks.
Everyone pays at the end of the season, directly to the winners, no money is held.
To keep it interesting every week for everyone, even people who know t hey wont make the playoffs, we do a high point winner each week. Who ever scores the most points that week wins $50. Its figured in at the end of the year with the league payouts.
Here is last year's payouts:
>> 1st Place: $2,096.00 40%
>> 2nd place: $1,572.00 30%
>> 3rd place: $1,048.00 20%
>> 4th place: $524.01 10%
