How to check if site is banned.
Strange situation. Site is doing well (100k alexa ranking) but typing in its unique name and its nowhere is google. :/

typing in site: and then its name shows there are 1200+ pages in google, but I'm surprised.


How can I definitely check if a site is banned?

alexa ranking means shit..

what matters is how much real organic traffic you have, alexa won't tell you that and actually alexa ranking can be manipulated.

real traffic and sales is what matters.

if it doesn't show for site:domain.com that means it's banned... also if cache:domain.com doesn't return anything it's most likely it's banned.

Using info: gives one result.


There is a cache dated 10 august.

Agreed, though I must confess that a vice of mine is to keep checking Alexa anyway it's always nice to jump through the hoops.

Maybe one day Alexa rank under 50?

your site sound alright, if 1200 pages are cached in google. It might have just lost the ranking for a while.
