It is perfectly adult-like Gary. It is my opinion, along with anyone who has ever done any reading comprehension research that caps are harder to read. This has been proven time and time again through lots of research. Therefore any site that uses caps in a block is missing a trick.

Here is the wiki page on it, so you can see it is not just MY opinion, but anyone that knows anything about typography and comprehension:

I understand what you are saying but i think you are missing the point of uppercase links, they arn't meant to be easily read but to be noticable. I'm pretty sure that most people skim through text on a webpage and if they come across some UPPERCASE text then they'll have to slow down across that part and actually take in whats being said there.

Great question. How can I know about design things when I am not a designer? Well, I read books on the subject, visit brilliant sites like smashingmagazine.com and read research on design. By using reading like this I learn things. I learnt that comprehension is reduced dramatically when you use all caps.

You seem to disagree with wikipedia and everyone else about this. Do you have an research I could read about why using caps increases comprehension? I'd love to read it.
