They didn't propose Net Neutrality rules. They said that true Net Neutrality would be bad for business and the growth of the web.
What they did propose was guidelines and rules. Guidelines and rules which would essentially make the web a bunch of apps and allow companies like Verizon to charge and prioritize these apps. Google is fucking evil. I saw this long ago. If this was a company like Apple proposing this shit people would be calling Steve Jobs the devil.
