The hotel had around 1500 peoplle in the show, what sucked for me specially at night, is that I was being sold pills.

When you went to internext you used to talk to people you could do something with, not waste your time getting a sales pitch on the best growth pill or the latest fleshlight.

The same number of cabanas were sold this year as last year it seamed.

And just because a show may be smaller doesn't mean that there's not good business to be had. Personally I define a show to be GOOD if I (a) Sell our warez + services to new customers, (b) buy some wazres / services from others, (c) have a good time. A+B+C is perfect of course, but A or B or C is can still be good.

I honestly cannot tell if you are being facetiously ironic. Those pix highlight just how dead the show is. Most of those pictured at booths are texting to relieve their obvious boredom. I can almost guess what they are saying... "What the fuck did we pay to come here? This place is a ghost town!"

Yeah, it was smaller, yeah there were plenty of retailers there but so what. There was business to be had and I closed several deals there on day one alone.

Frankly I don't care about bikini contests, parties and Players Ball.
I got a great deal of business done during dinners, by the pool, and met some great contacts during the Mojo datacenter tour.
A smaller, more intimate show allows you to meet with everyone you need to, while being able to focus on the ones you want to.
