That depends, the #1 problem by which criteria? Economic? Social? Environmental?
All things combined many would argue it's the #1 problem, especially at the exponential rate it's growing. Doing a Google search doesn't mean anything. You're a webmaster, you should know this. If I search for something that doesn't necessarily mean it's the best most relevant answer. Don't be ridiculous. :)
