SIC Cash will cease operations as of August 1, 2010.

Due to the current economic circumstances, and significant shifts within the adult industry, it is with great sadness that we announce the closure of SIC Cash. We would like to thank all our webmasters for your years of hard work. Thanks to you, this has been a rollercoaster of a ride.

We wish you the best of luck on all your future endeavors.

Yup...totally agree. This narrowing of the industry helps those that are innovative and forward thinking with their programs.

FYI, for those of you looking to replace their GAY sites, we have a wide range of sites that match their niches, like RealBareback, BarebackVids and RaunchyBareback for their bareback sites, AnalDiscipline for their anal fucking sites, HunkExclusives and BrokeAndHorny for their studs/hunks sites, RealGayVideos for their gay video sites, and loads more!!!

Before anyone says "sign of the times"... it's not.

Affiliate programs can still thrive, if those who are running them evolve and roll with the changes. It's obvious the people at SIC Cash had other things on their mind. (like Rainbow Revenue, and Cream Bling)

Consolidating their programs? They are selling off the Sic and VIP assets but keeping the others. That's not what I would call consolidation.

What hooplah? Court case?
In fact, all charges were dropped.... very similar to the current Stagliano story.

SEG has been quietly running fine for years now.

yes... quietly running fine for years now without updating their tours they have had the same pics on their tours eons. According to their webmaster area they havent updated since last year -- I used to do well with them but pulled all their links once the sales died off.

Some of these outdated sponsors just keep their shit up on autopilot because of all the links they have out on the internet and all the sucker surfers that must sign up and all the newbie webmasters who send them traffic. Once the sales reach a certain level they then make an announcement and never have to update their sites or pay out ever again but the money keeps coming in

Yeah, I know the charges were dropped, just didn't hear much from them after it.

I thought they had closed up, apparently not but as you said they are running it quietly.

Says CreamBling and Rainbow Revenue will continue as is. From the JBM thread:

SIC CASH and VIP earnings closing Aug 1

SIC Cash has a good run, one of the oldest programs going. The sites, domains, and loads of exclusive content are available for sale for the right price, only as a package.

Rainbow revenue and Cream Bling will remain open and be our focus moving forward. Dont worry, im not going anywhere, just consolidating.

A lot of programs launched new tours for the same backend and called them "new sites"

You can't hide the fact that it's all just a ZMaster CD and a handful of "blowout" feeds

It's not "a sign of the times" it's the obsolesence of a business model that is playing out -- of course, you could call that "a sign of the times"

Sorry to hear for the sake of affiliates about the closing of the program. Brad Shaw is a smart guy, no doubt, I'm certain he is already fine and well positioned with savings, other investments and businesses in other industries. As for those affiliates who were PPS, they can simply change out their links. I feel for those who were rev-sharing, although they no doubt had many good years it's a sting for it to end in such a way.

Best of luck to everyone. And to whomever in the thread with the LSC comment about closure, I'd be careful with libelous statements. I'm certain that Steve's business is just fine, surely working harder than ever and retooling for the future like everyone else with new products.

Brad

Sorry I am not going anywhere, we are still running Cream Bling and Rainbow Revenue. SIC CASH was a dinosaur and needed to be closed, already fielding seveal offers on it for the value in the domains and exclusive content.

Cream Bling and Rainbow Revenue are going to be our focus. Look for big things with both programs in the future.

FYI, for those of you looking to replace their GAY sites, we have a wide range of sites that match their niches, like RealBareback, BarebackVids and RaunchyBareback for their bareback sites, AnalDiscipline for their anal fucking sites, HunkExclusives and BrokeAndHorny for their studs/hunks sites, RealGayVideos for their gay video sites, and loads more!!!
rainbowrevenue.com is not closing and still converts like mad

wow. lots of programs closing. If their sites were unique they might be doing well.

This is a insight for anyone that has generic paysites.

This is why I here at GFY to find out about the new sponsor sites coming online that convert and to be motivated by folks who agreed there is still good money in porn.

That was just a projection... the Lightspeed tours havent changed or been updated with new content in about 5 years so I am guessing its just a matter of time before their announcement comes. All those lightspeed girls on their tours are now well on their way to becoming milfs

You can't hide the fact that it's all just a ZMaster CD and a handful of "blowout" feeds

It's not "a sign of the times" it's the obsolesence of a business model that is playing out -- of course, you could call that "a sign of the times"
So true, now we are finding out the people & sponsors that are truly passionate about this industry and are in it for more than just a quick, easy buck - and they have risen to the top eg bangbros, pimproll, mediumpimpin etc etc)
