I live in a small coastal town in Oregon...the temperature now is mid 60's...the overcast is going away so it may hit 70 before the day is over. Usually the summer months here are in the mid 70's-80 degrees...but this summer it has been lower than normal.

Best way to go thru Redding, with the air on full. Its usually only really hot for a couple weeks. We get snow sometimes during the winter, spring and fall are beautiful here and we have a really big ass lake. My house is 2 miles from lake Shasta, 365 miles of shoreline

When I went to AfterShockMedias wedding, it was in July a few years ago, it was so hot, a piece of plastic melted to my dash, and during the ceremony, there was a trailer parked in the next house over, a tired popped from air expansion, it was over 120 in the shade that day, still a pretty good wedding

My husband knows the Redding/Red Bluff area well. And yes, it gets to 120 during the day and upper 80s at night. Whiskeytown Lake is nice too.

Bandon does have some pretty incredible golf courses. Looking at the weather maps, it looks like the Oregon Coast is a pretty nice place to be right now. Where on the coast are you at, King? We've been doing some camping and playing in the dunes along the coast this summer...

That's why I like it over here. Dry season, and rainy season. Never colder than say +22C, and never hotter than say +40C. None of this spring, summer, fall, winter bullshit...

Our heat wave was supposed to be over last night, but now the front has stalled and it looks like it could be Wednesday or Thursday before our overnight lows get below 80F.

Our city is handing out fans to the elderly and disabled and they are opening up shelters.

I have an 18,000 btu window air running in my bedroom and I have one of those 13000 btu running in my office, and I don't think the temperature is under 95F in either room.

We have new place we are supposed to move to in 60 days, so I don't want to lay out for any more ac units, but it is terribly hot.

Beautiful here in Vancouver-ish right now. It's about 78 degree's in my office and maybe about the same outside? I don't even know what that works out to in Celcius, maybe 27?

Either way, it's about damn time.

Love that lake, 365 miles of shortline, lots of little coves and places to get away there, best time to go is begining of the summer, water is cleaner.
