One of Peter North's personal high-performance cars will be put up for auction this week,
giving fans the chance to own a piece of the legend himself and...well.... to know what
maximum thrust really is

The auction kicks off on July
14th when North guest stars on the syndicated radio show Loveline,
with Dr. Drew Pinsky and Michael Catherwood.

custom pearl-white 1993 Stillen Turbo 300ZX
re-built by North, complete with a modified engine
17? VOLK lightweight racing wheels
anti-sway bar
blitz boost controller
brand new leather seats
Specialty Z exhaust
has a completely re-built transmission complete with a 4000 high-stall torque converter, capable of handling over 800 horsepower
every belt, o-ring, gasket, hose, vacuum line, thermostat, switch, connector, etc, are brand new

not on any japanese sports cars i can think of off the bat and not on these cars, maybe on a new GTR but this has a sloshbox of a transmission. manual > auto any day of the week in terms of holding power unless you build the transmission specifically for a racing application.

You guys are all retarded, that car probably has 100k into it. Its completely built from head to toe and probably runs a low 11 second 1/4 mile. Its in perfect condition, except for the cum stains. Ive been friends with Peter for 10 years now and he was always adding something new to that car(turbo upgrade,fuel system, intercoolers, built motor etc) Stop bashing it and start promoting. North should probably show some in-car race video, that SOB is super fast.

100k and 11 seconds is nothing to get excited about. I have a car in my shed that has about 10k spent on it that will knock on the door of 10's. Would more than likely stop and corner better than the 300zx too.

Serious collectors & enthusiasts are more interested in cars with all-original parts, not cars that have been modded with after-market gadgets. They bring zero re-sale value to any car, and tend to be driven beyond original enginnering spec and tolerances by over-excited drivers. The fact that this car may have been raced only devalues the car due to excessive wear and tear, nothing else. Sorry, but no.
