refreshing out on the water? you make it sound like a cruise? You will be high on fumes and covered in oil, in the 100+ degree heat in a hazmat suit, seeing first hand up and close of the damage done, while what you will be doing will seem like the tinest drop in the bucket and a waste of time compared to the damage being done. Not saying you shouldn't do anything, I just don't think it will be as rewarding as you think, and definitely not refreshing!

I hate to hate, but seriously you sound like one of those guys who thinks something is very important right when YOU decide to do it. Where was your sense of duty the last 2 months? Where were your posting about this sense of duty before you decided to do it. The oil has been a huge problem for several weeks now.

The same thing with the vegaterian thing with you. When YOU decide to do it, it was the greatest thing to do and everyone else should want to do it too. They are not allowing people to use respirators because they don't wanna be found liable for what will be called "Gulf Coast Syndrome". If you have any sense left in your body you will not go out there.
